The ONE Thing You Need to Travel Everywhere with Your Dog! | Cavapoo

We traveled from Canada to Portugal and took a two week European road trip across three countries; France, Spain and Portugal! As a first time dog owner returning from this amazing trip, I have a lot of helpful tips on how I traveled with Sophie and how I managed to ensure that I could take this adorable cavapoo EVERYWHERE we went! Except for beaches... that's a whole other problem!

Great video, and I'd love to see how you got Sophie accustomed to the back pack -- it looks like she actually enjoys going in there.

It is so cute to watch Sophie hop right into your backpack ☺️🐶 What a sweet pup! Our family recently adopted a Cavapoo and just love her! I’m curious, to what do you attribute Sophie’s calm behavior? Sophie always seems so calm and well behaved in your videos.

Congratulations on your adoption! 😊 I'm honestly not sure if Sophie's calm behaviour is just part of her personality, she can be quite silly and energetic but she's usually really good at matching my energy level so she knows when it's time to play and be silly! I remembering wondering when she would settle a bit when she was in her hyperactive puppy stage, I think she grew out of that stage around 8 months to a year.

@@NessaandSophie to hear by 8 month so they can calm down is such a good new . I feel mine is still very active , he is 7 month old . Since he is most of time at home with us . He is too excited to see other people .

Sophie is so good about going in her backpack! She knows she'll be having some fun, haha. She no doubt looks forward to having a nap in it when she's worn out from walking. Do you find it as easy to carry in the front as the back? I'm guessing you're about to fly back if you haven't yet. Have a safe trip and hope Soph does as well as she did going!

She absolutely loves napping in her backpack, we always say how lucky she is that she gets a portable nap spot when she's tired! I definitely think that carrying her in front is easier on my back, but if I'm trying to be "sneakier" I have to carry her on my back lol!
