Original Everquest Tutorial on 3dfx Voodoo5

Original Everquest Tutorial played on 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 with 4xFSAA Glide.
This is the tutorial that is included on the Everquest installation CD.
The game was at the time of the CD freeze still in beta stage and music is not yet supported (sound effects are).
The video features the models and textures as in EQ beta phase 4 and represents the graphics of the original game.

So many memories. I used to play this tutorial over and over and over again, because I didn't have an account, but I wanted to play so bad. I even tried to beat it as fast as I could by memorizing all the steps and doing them as quickly as I could. I guess now we call it speedrunning! But I'd watch my brother play on his live account for hours and play this tutorial repeatedly. So good. Bless this game.

Hah love seeing that 3dfx animation, that is nostalgic as hell. I was able to get a copy of this old tutorial. Got it working on Win 7 64 bit with a Geforce 1070. Looks much "messier" than this. The old Voodoo card makes this look much cleaner.
