It makes me feel so much better playing under-leveled mortar and ~100 below you. So difficult losing by a few HP knowing my arrows one level higher would’ve made the difference.
As a player who’s never been to global leaderboards and just got to 7k and top 5000 global yesterday, I can definitely say micros is what makes the difference. At this point if you don’t understand macros there’s plenty of great TH-camrs including eragon who explain macros very well, it’s just learning micros to get those positive trades and take advantage when your opponent has a bad hand and/or low elixir. Also making sure not to overcommit, sometimes it’s okay to take damage to stay even or up elixir, and eragon did a great job of showing that in this video!
This is really helpful, and yes you're point when you said, 'If you're stuck on this trophy range, you'll probably won't get to the top ladder'. I mean it's fun to watch the top ladder matches because it's so skilled and intense that we'll never feel (unless we got into the top ladder and can survived well somehow) but it doesn't help much against randumb midladder decks. I actually struggled so hard against pekka bridge spam deck because I don't deal with pekka very well and misplay a lot so this video really thought me some useful plays.

Jokes on me all my cards are 9-11 and i mainly use a bridge spam with royal hogs and mk but recently been using classic log bait with valk, guards, e spirit and honestly it beats really well crazy decks but really struggles to overleveled cards and towers so i cant push that much

I am like around the similar trophy range The greatest advice I can give to players in 6.3k I think we need to focus on micros more in order to climb up We already have mastered most of the main placements , positions and stuffs So mostly micro mistakes is our ( x bow players at this range) weakness
