Nice, In the states I would suggest buying a $3 Styrofoam cooler and skipping to 2:00 to save some time, then retrofitting things in from there. Pretty cool and great idea, Thanks!
Love it, and I'll make one, but much room for improvement... Inside should hold 6-pack of full size (Guinness-sized) cans. Also make back, middle, and bottom 2 layers of foam. Fan should blow into the heatsink (more air turbulence for better heat extraction). Maybe add a tiny fan on cold heatsink for internal air circulation (faster cooling of warm items and after door has been opened; turn off when door is open). With fans on heatsinks, the fin density can be much higher (and longer fins may help too... look at heatsinks for PC µP's). Smaller heatsink sized hole for middle layer between small cold heatsink and large hot one. The 2nd middle foam layer should have large heatsink sized hole with space for air to escape bottom of fins. Add a small foam ring around upper area of large heatsink so air must flow through and out bottom of heatsink. Door should cover the lower middle foam sheet. Add a foam piece inset in front of the fan, so air can only escape out louvers. Upper outer panel should cover upper middle foam sheet. Now the door could almost be full height, with just the smallest panel to hold the readout. Top vent louvers should face away from user. Better yet, mount Peltier at inside top back and blow heat out the back, and include an air escape channel in the top of the 2nd back foam layer so hot air can escape when the fridge is against a wall. Use a "pocket handle" to minimize the overall depth (might need a small foam block at the top behind that so there's 4cm everywhere). Use 18650 LiFePO4 batteries. Run electronics at 12V so you can power it in your car or boat (may need DC-DC buck supply to run things) . Add a USB port so you can charge devices as well!
I try to buy those things on shopping malls and hardware but thet don't have any of it... So I have to suggest an effective thing wich is to buy ONLINE shops, where you can find legit and cheap things about the stores who are selling it...

Hi we are making a fridge like this for our senior project and we are adding wheels Handel and solar panel on it. What are the heat calculations for your fridge if you have any? also what is your opinion on our project? do you think that us adding innovations like this to the fridge will further improve it? And finally do you think it´ll be possible to add a solar panel to it?
Very Nice idea🤩, I too want to make it , but the kit link you have give in description is not deliverable to India😔😔 Can you make a video in which how can we make a refrigeration kit.
All it seems to be is a styrofoam casing with a heat sink usually used for computers, along with an AC/DC adapter for an electrical outlet to power the heat sink and LED light and some wood, handle, and a few hinges to make it more convenient. It's a pretty simple design really but effective and easier to make them other heat sinks in a conventional fridge or AC unit
@@johnnyxthemacnifient5333 Tec-12706 is the cooling unit, which is a max 6A. I would not use just 1, because then you will need to run it with high voltage and that is not good. Best would be to use 2x12706 stacked at 5volts. It will use about 7watts/1.4A, so in 2xstacked setup only about 15watts/2.8A. With this setup you can go 42degrees under ambient temperature, i have reached -24 celsius and room temperature 18c with this. In a 6litre box, like this guy has in hes video, it would easily go under 0 celsius. All in all, do not use high voltages, best for small fridges are Peltiers that have max voltage of 8.5v, then you can use them at 5volts for VERY good results with very low watts used. Here is a place where i get my current modules: www.electron.com/peltier-modules-c374/
I have a question, I assume that the batteries are for the fan and the plug 12v is for the cooling device, is it possible to connect the fan to the 12v plug with the cooling device? And can you put a button to turn off and on when needed? ( My project does not require to be always on and it would be cool to have a button).
