    After making this video I was told by several people that you should refrain from putting Alcohol Ink Solution in the mister that comes in the Alcohol Ink Kit. You can spray with regular alcohol but not with the Ranger Blending solution as it has resin that can be aspirated into your lungs.

      And blowing the blending solution with a straw is really risky too 😳

      It can do permanent damage to your lungs AND your eyes.

    I like to mix regular and pearls. I like to leave some white space. And enjoy doodling the circles with Pitt pens.
    I store the pearls on their sides. Shake vigorously before starting and before each use if they have sat for even a minute.
    I would never mist the blending soln not plain alcohol. If u do mist you should wear a mast to prevent inhaling the products into your lungs.
    I won’t use heat gun either since Yupo is plastic and can easily warp. I do like to use an air can tho. Also like the round blending tool best.
    Enjoy the play!

    Karen, loved your various techniques. Amazingly rad backgrounds created!! Plus you can still use the alcohol lift ink and incorporate your stamps to create adorable cards,(twofers). This disc binding is a great way to store and organize your created backgrounds for future use. Thank you, so much!!😘✨👍🏾

    • @KerenTamir

      This link ldli.co/e/6557rx from below is the one for all the pearl colors: there's only 2 pink shades intrigue and enchanted so it must be it. The alcohol ink pearls come in very limited set of colors so it can only be one of those pinks.

    Love alcohol inks!!! I heard you can put alcohol into a spray bottle, BUT you should NEVER put blending solution into a spray bottle as the mist can do damage to your eyes and your lungs. Alcohol at the most will sting your eyes, but will not damage them.

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      yes I heard that afterwards, but its all good now

    • @happyredpanda

      I’m watching this in 2021, and I don’t see any warning about putting blending solution into a sprayer. I think the responsible thing to do is to add such a warning on the video itself so crafters will not follow the “technique” shown here. It’s not safe.

    Can you tell me what is difference in using 99 pecent alcohol or the blending solution thankyou

    • @fionnawheatley9095
      @fionnawheatley9095 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sue Kruger hi sue, regular alcohol 99% tends to remove colour, where as the blending solution tends to move the inks. Hope this helps.

    • @lilianc5792
      @lilianc5792 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Use ethyl alcohol for blending instead of the blending solution, not isopropyl alcohol. Much less expensive.

  • @karinwatson4985
    @karinwatson4985 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Please check out whether its safe to spray Blending Solution. I think what was said is that it breaks the solution into fine particles that will get into your lungs which is dangerous. Your backgrounds are very colorful and pretty but please do go and check.

      @@KerenTamir On the ranger ink page there is a note that these shouldn't be sprayed because the alcohol should not be aersolized. In videos he talks about the resins being bad when they are airborn

    • @KerenTamir
      @KerenTamir  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1
