The animation and emotional buildup in this episode was insane… it made you so hype for the next episode! ^_^ Akane is certainly the best partner in crime for Aqua, but not sure if she’s the best romantic partner… romance may be the last thing in mind until he achieves his goal of finding (and hopefully not killing, but putting to justice) his father.
I think it’s crazy that she found a magazine that is probably what 5-10 years old? Is it easy to find something like that in Japan? And for her to just to have that in her backpack at all times? That means she literally brings it with everywhere waiting just for this moment. That’s next level and hilarious. Yeah that build up was so good! Loved it! Amazing stuff. Yeah aqua is way too focused on his objective to worry about a relationship that doesn’t benefit his end goal. Him being a murderer at the end of this is probably unlikely. Idk tho he seems pretty determined. But having one of the MCs literally be a murderer is kinda cray but not unheard of. I’m excited to see how this all unfolds.

You can find all kinds of books, magazines, old games, music, videos, etc. at BookOff, a huge used bookstore chain. You could probably also find used books on Japanese Amazon as well as other online systems, such as Rakuten or Mercari. BookOff, btw, has other specialty branch stores, such as HardOff for computer hardware and related electronics, LiquorOff for booze, and HobbyOff for old toys, figurines, etc. Also, I don’t think Kana just kept that magazine on her at all times. I think she heard about it from her co-star, looked for it and bought it, brought it that day, and egged Akane into getting into a fight with her so that she could pull it out. ^_^

In short, you can find lots of used books, CDs, figurines, toys, etc. in chains like Book-Off, as well as the usual online shopping sites like Amazon, Rakuten, Mercari, etc. And Kana probably heard about the book from her co-star, looked for it and bought it, then started the fight with Akane so that she’d be given the chance to bring out the back issue. ^_^
