Very crowded indeed! The town sure makes revenue to keep up with the maintaining such a busy but beautiful town. I prefer weekdays to visit tourist towns. I actually get dizzy with the flow of people walking in both directions and having to go around dodging in and out. It’s hard to gift shop to look around stores. My daughter lives near many beach towns and she has to drive country roads to avoid costal highway because of the traffic, traffic lights and congestion. Spring break and people just want to get out and about after a long winter inside especially if you live north like I do.
It's definitely a great site to see everyone out & about and enjoying the mountain air. It's such a rare sight to see it this busy so we wanted to capture and document the crowd levels. That is so neat that your daughter lives close to the beach. What a dream, but it does sound like the traffic changes with the tourist seasons there too.
