I saw similar things in China. The artists sell the sugar candy on the road side with really cheap price. A child can order whatever shape he or she likes for $10. Japan is great at valuing all the traditional art and making the price worth the hardwork!

I've actually bought a 3 month subscription to Sakuraco and I can totally vouch for them, they have very unique and delicious Japanese treats. They've already sent me the August and September boxes and the August box from Okinawa was my fav! The snacks that were shown in the beginning of the video were from that August box and my favorite snack was the one with the purple wrapping, it was made with sweet potatoes and what a delight. Totally worth the $30/box price tag for this unique experience since traveling to Japan is kind of hard right now, especially considering that candy master wanted $500 for that piece of candy...

I wonder how many sales he makes in a day?
Are there wealthy regulars who buy one as a snack weekly?
What occasion (gifting) do people buy these most for?
    So many questions.

Considering they sell normal fruits like grapes and strawberries in gift boxes for hundreds of dollars, I'm guessing this is the same kind of thing

eating from the head or from the ball, that is the big question. Lol okay :) . The joys of cultural exchange. This video was super duper, really learnt about something wonderful/unique that exists on earth.
