See the brand new Mako 19CC Pro Skiff here at Tracker Boat Center in Fort Myers FL 10040 Gulf Center Drive Fort Myers, FL 33913 Wade Mikosz Team Sales Lead 239.461.4937
@nickmarmolejo2165 Thank you for the question! I have sent this off to the engineering team at Mako for some more insight into this. I have a Mako Pro Skiff 19CC here in my showroom, and the Coastguard Sticker shows the boat rated at a higher capacity than our website. We are working to get to the bottom of this, and I hope to update you soon.
Our Engineering Department has responded and stated that there is an error on our website. The correct capacity for the Mako Pro Skiff 19CC should 2400lbs Persons, Motor, Gear, and a 6 person capacity or 814lbs. which are both higher than listed on our website. This is what the testing in accordance with the US Coast Guard has rated this boat. I hope this helps, and sorry it took so long to get a response back to you.
With the same motor package these boats are very comparable in price. With the 19 Pro Skiff you have the option to go up to a Mercury 150, where as the 18LTS maxes out with a Mercury 115 ProXS. Please visit www.MakoBoats.com where you can spec and build out your boat to fit your needs, and compare more pricing and options. Or feel free to contact our sales team at 239.461.4980.
Which rides better and is drier in a 2 foot chop the 19 Pro Skiff or the 18 LTS? I'm leaning toward the Pro Skiff because of stability and fishing room.
The Pro Skiff 19 will have a dryer ride, and handle larger waves better with its higher gunnels. Both boats are designed more for shallow waters, and if you are planning on fishing in 2 foot chop often a deeper V style boat will be more comfortable and safer. Have you looked at our Mako 214CC?
@@trackerboatcenterft.myersfl I'm fishing a 25 Fountain now, but I am done with bigger boats. I've owned 4 Mako boats in my life and at the age of 74 I want a new boat that I can launch easily from the rail 100 yards from my weekend house on the Georgia coast at Pine Harbor. I fish mainly inshore, but also run the beaches from Sapelo down to Cumberland. I only go out front looking for Tripletails. I fish bridges for Sheephead and plug cast for Trout and Reds in the creeks. I also do some flounder fishing and gigging.
@@charlesmarshall2697 It sounds like you have a lot of experience operating boats! I love hearing that you have owned Mako boats and are happy with the brand and interested in getting another one too. The Mako 19 Pro Skiff would be a great option for what you are looking at doing. It is a very stable platform with lots of front deck space for looking for those Tripletail! and a great layout for fishing around the back of the boat too. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
This looks like a fun boat!
BEBOR We are glad you like the boat!
One of the main complaints ive seen is the front livewell. Has this been redesigned? Does it function properly now? Honesty
Any reason to why the payload is so much less then the 17?
