Thanks for making these tutorials. I saw a nice book about braiding at an event at our local re-created viking village outside Upplands Väsby last year but that book is not available anymore. And it's so much easier to understand the technique seeing it in action. 🙏
I usually whip stitch them on, going through a small part of the braid, running in the same direction, if you use matching thread it ends up almost invisible!
It has taken rather longer than I expected, but the next video is going to be all about where to place and how to attatch the cords and braids to clothing. :)

How do you recommend attaching these to tunics or other garments? I'm working on a 6-strand one from your other video for a Skjoldehamn tunic atm
