It’s been super insightful hearing what you would change, or what you would go back and tell yourself. We are in the process of planning our kitchen reno as our first project in this house and the options are honestly endless! Its overwhelming! X

Energy-wise, you don't have to heat up a whole oven to reheat something that you can reheat very quickly in the Air Fryer (pizza, shepherd's pie, fries, any type of finger food). When you live alone, you can bake small batches of about everything in an Air Fryer.

I wouldn’t say you need an air fryer but the Ninja Foodie is pretty great! We have the XL version with the grill, roaster, and air crisper. Makes meal prep so much easier!

Neutral colours are always good on walls and in kitchens etc. You can always add colour in other ways. I go off colours and change my mind at least if you just accesorize you can easily change it
Totally your call but I think the panelling behind the shelves will look too busy! Especially if you have bits and bobs on the shelves xx
Have you tried the day light bulbs, they are so much brighter for your kitchen
I was the no microwave girl lol😂😂 I was also no airfryer but my boyf is a die hard lover and I will say i've turned to the dark side even though I feel oddly guilty? 😂 loved hearing the regrets - it's vulnerable sharing any regrets online but it's so insightful to listen to❤
I also now want a washer dryer upstairs like i'm ruined for life with that idea😂
Hi Emily, Everything looks amazing.
I have an idea for the built in your having done in the kitchen/living area.
You should look into building something that if you decide to convert that area to a dining area it will look like a buffet area where you could store your glassware, napkins etc. Maybe where u have the tv for now u could place a painting or a mirror later.

A house is neverending work dear so dont rush it ..enjoy it as it so u have a break from.workers then spread out the work after as it will be stress on you and the dog lol

I got rid of my mattress via British heart Foundation. They pick up for free then when they sell on they email and let you know how much you have made for the charity.

If you are wanting to add more colour to the house, why not try putting up some artwork or adding pops of colour with cushions and throws? It's easier than repainting! As far as the garden room goes, personally I would recommend you give it a few years before thinking about it (which I know you said you didn't want to do!) and once you are finished with the house you will probably become more interested in gardening (it happened to me and my friends in our 30s!) and then you might have different ideas of how you want to use the space.

air fryer....i have two ..one with drawer and second is one space...i detest both... i prefer my oven..they add zero to my life. my christmas tree however i add very carefully to but its taken me years.its full of memories ..add to ur home things you want that will add to ur use if it..dont think everyone loves air fryers..if itll add little or nothing to you then dont get one never mind two lol xx

Try putting the printer on a table, seems silly but mine often struggles when it’s directly on the floor. As soon as it’s on a desktop it’s fine!

I get the cringe when I see where door knobs can hit the cabinets. It really feels bad to put holes in your floor and installing a door stop but, it takes away the fear! Lol 😊

You could try a white painted faux brick situation by the shelves in the kitchen? It wouldn’t necessarily add color, but it would help with adding homely textures.

I live in the United States and seeing the news post everyday about all of the wars has my anxiety sky high... Whew! I enjoy your channel very much. Lot's of fun and real life things...I had to watch the news to catch the weather and heard the newscaster in the background say an argument broke out at a market in the early morning and a women was shot in the arm! My printer also kept saying it, I realised the clips holding the paper before it feeds into the printer was a bit too tight. I opened it up a tiny bit and the paper was pulled through to print on easily and no more messages telling me the paper is jammed
I hope i explained it properly 😊 it's the things that hold the paper in place before it takes ot to print on that was pushing a tiny but too tight on the edges of the paper, so because it couldn't grab the paper to print on easily it assumed it was jammed
