I wanted to share my birth story as it is in whole a very positive one and I think it's important to show that you anyone that is terrified of giving birth or wants to see my view on the whole thing. It is very late as my daughter is now 3 months old but I am only just getting to a place where I can get stuff done!!

I just stood over the counter in my kitchen with my IPad and was mesmerized by your voice and looking at your precious baby. It like I suddenly relived my own childbirth experience and the first days of being with my newborn. I literally couldn’t tear myself away from this video. Thank you for that wonderful escape from reality and those adorable baby sounds. Much love to you and your family.
I love how she looks like she is listening so intently to you and her little expressions as you talk. Adorable. It’s true you really don’t care how you look right after giving birth. I’m glad you had a good birth experience. Beautiful name you and Steven chose for her.
Dear Gabby, thank you so much for sharing this very wonderful and beautiful part of your lives. I was never able to have a child and your experience was amazing. I know women that have had children but none ever shared it the way you have. May God richly bless you all with an amazing life. Thank you so much.

Watching this brought real tears, I had my little boy by emergency section (due to him stopping moving) 6 weeks ago today. He was 4 weeks early and his birth was not what I expected having had twins naturally with just gas and air previously.
It definitely took time to get my head round it all but having him here healthy and now thriving is all that matters and these first weeks are just so special, much love to your family enjoy every moment (as I know you will) x
Congratulations to both of you on the arrival of your beautiful daughter. You will be wonderful parents and Hobbs the perfect older brother. Enjoy every precious moment. Laugh a lot it helps drown out the blues.

Welcome to the world, Beatrix! Congratulations Mummy and Daddy!
She’s beautiful, and that blur is the reason we have more babies😂🤣. There is a woman called the Baby Whisperer who has written a book about baby language and it’s a life saver. Different cries mean different things and she explains it well. You can just google baby language to find it out, really helps figure out what’s up. Just relax and trust your instincts, enjoy every minute, it goes past faster than you can imagine. I know everyone says that but that’s because it’s true, they grow and develop soooo much in the first year it’s amazing. Enjoy!
Congratulations. I’m so happy for you. Beatrix is a little beauty. My little sister was born at the Whittington, she’s 36 today. Time really flies. Enjoy your new baby.
Awwww lovely! Beatrix is listening to you, so peaceful and calm. its really good to share positive birth stories. i too was really well looked after at hospital during and after my c section. i love you not caring who could see your bum!!

Bee is so sweet and calm, that is truly a blessing. Please don't feel you need to apologize for being emotional. It makes me feel like part of the action. I'm glad you are recovering so well and that you aren't afraid to say no and take care of yourself.. I really enjoy these news updates and every once in a while is plenty. You have enough to do. She's so beautiful. So chilled. I had both my boys by C section, they are now 27 and 23. Take care of you too. I had a week in hospital post up and I was glad.

Thank you for sharing your birth story Gabby. Beatrix is such a beautiful baby. I'm glad to hear that Hobbes is doing his job as big brother properly. My dog used to watch over my son and daughter when they were little. Like warning me if they were trying to climb the stairs on their own. It's a wonderful relationship.

Congrats to you both, you've made a beautiful little girl. I was the same, my first was boy was breech, and I too had to have a c-section after preparing for a natural birth with the midwife. Bit of a shock, but all went well. It's quite a journey being a first time Mum, its a huge learning curve. But you will both be brilliant, all she needs is love and support and it sounds like you both have that in abundance to give her. Enjoy!!

Omg! She’s so beautiful. My daughter didn’t cry either. And it freaked me out but she actually had a blockage in her lung. She was fine but they had to take it out. And they kept her in the hospital for a week. It is surreal holding and feeling your baby for the first time. My daughter is 5 years old now and sometimes I just look at her and think “I can’t believe I made that.” Haha.
I’m so happy for your family. You guys deserve all the happiness in the world. And I love love love her name.

Lovely birth story. My last birth was twins and a planned C section. The night before the surgery Baby A turn upside down. I thought my abdomen was going to burst. The day after they were born, birthweights 6lbs 7 ounce and 7 lbs 6 ounce. That was 27 years ago.

Aw,, she’s lovely!! So lucky that you got a C section!! One of my daughters had one recently after having 2 normal deliveries.
She said it was the best thing ever. She was up and about making others cups of coffee the same night. Thank god you didn’t have to go through proper labour.

Congratulations mama :-) She IS perfect. Thanks for sharing. Of course we all have our own delivery stories. I too had a midwife (31 years ago) and had to work at getting the contractions going - walking, climbing up & down stairs, drinking cod liver oil, etc. Do you ever go for walks with Meagan and her baby?

She is so perfect! Loved hearing your story. My first was a c-section as she was extended breech but I had two 'normal' deliveries afterwards. Treasure each moment as they grow so fast. Xx
thanks for sharing, what a lovely experience. Film LOTS of Bea for yourselves, because this year is going to shoot by in a blink of an eye (I had four kids, and I can't believe they are grown and married now, I still feel like that Mom breastfeeding and chasing toddlers). My comfort now is watching all the films I have transferred on too DVD's while I sew and paint. You won't regret filming even just the baby sleeping, Dad holding, furbaby sniffing, of course firsts of everything and your favorite outfits. I saved all my favorite outfits of each child, but MY LUCK.....nobody is having children in my bunch except possibly my youngest son who just got married. I am at the mercy of my DIL.

Congratulations Gabby, Stephen & Hobbs on your beautiful Beatrix!!! So very happy her birth went well & for the most part you & Stephen enjoyed your baby honeymoon!!!!! She is 3 months old, what a wonderful time. This is the time when babies smile a lot. Before you know it she will begin belly laughing. It is the most enjoyable thing to experience. You just won't be able to believe how wonderful it is. It will take you to a whole knew level of heaven!!! God bless the whole family.
