I remember living in Ohio when this game came out and being confused as to why the Browns weren’t in it. I remember my dad telling me “Just wait till next years game. They’ll be there.”

As someone who played the College Game Day games of this time, it's the same game just NFL logos and announcers. 😆
Even the sound effects are the same.
Still a solid franchise, but I feel like if they would have just stuck with the CGD and truly mastered that - who knows. Maybe 989 would have survived as the college franchise and Madden as the NFL.
