Without these seamstress that piece of beautiful clothing is just a design on a paper, waiting to me made. Without the designer, that fabric is waiting there, waiting to me made into something unique. Both of these jobs depend on one another.

Was watching this video the other day, it brought a knot to my throat, brought back many memories of my mother, she would've love to see these dresses, beautiful work,they're all a piece of Art.

In France, by law, a garment has to be handmade in order to be able to put the Haute Couture label on it.
However all garments are hand made ...even in sweat shops where workers are like slaves - it's still hand made.
