I like Boise State, and I love Jeanty, but I don't think you have much shot. Probably a 2 score win for PSU. But of course, much crazier upsets have happened. Jeanty will have to make our second level defenders miss and while he is amazing, our LBs are playing better than they have all year. I don't think you'll contain our DL at all. I wish we weren't playing because I wanted to root for you guys to win a game. If you do win, I'll root for ya'll the rest of the way. Best of luck.
I would be cautious. Those interceptions didn't happen in a vacuum. Also this game will be in good weather so both teams offense will be at their peak. If the need arrives the psu offense can score in the 30s. Both teams have paths to victory ... but psu has more. Anyway, GL and hopefully this will be a better game.
@@bryanpbrowning8620 Wow, you're a rude A-hole. I was quite polite and sincere in the hope we got a good game. But hey go ahead and drink in the narrative that close road victories by PSU herald a sure victory. It's not like Boise struggled with UNLV, Nevada, and Wyoming right? The truth is PSU has nothing to gain from playing Boise reputation wise and there is a reason for that. We win and it's because it was expected. We lose and it'll be an embarrassing loss that'll be hung around our neck all off season. Boise has nothing to lose because nothing is expected of them. I think they're a decent team that "can" win, but until proven otherwise I'm going to put them at the level of a 9 win SEC or Big 10 team.
Orange Bowl packages are not a disrespect to BSU. You should be doing the same. That’s just trying to prepare for travel that is relatively soon. We were selling Fiesta Bowl packages before the SMU game as well. It’s just smart travel planning. Who wants to try to figure out travel for a bowl game in a week?
Penn State is 33-1 when favored since 2022 for a reason. The 1 loss was against Ole Miss in the Peach Bowl when 8 starters had undisclosed opt-outs. I admire BSU's confidence, but I just want folks to acknowledge the paths to winning for BSU are significantly less than PSU. I listened for two weeks that SMU was going to run Oregon's game plan against PSU. By halftime, I couldn't find a single person who claimed that SMU could beat PSU.
I like how the guy doing the stat experiment took Purdue and West VA out of the away stats, as if those two aren’t better than 90% of the teams on Boise’s schedule (okay maybe not Purdue, lol)
The best time to score on PSU is on the first drive. Almost every game this year the opponent drives down the field. With the exception of a couple of games, that is usually it. I expect Boise to be tough though. SMU was kind of a joke. PSU's offense slept thru that game and still won by 28. Boise State has been in big games, whereas SMU hasn't and it showed.
Everyone says the same exact thing about PSU game after game and they still win. Go watch everyone else’s podcast all season. I think BS is a great team, but let’s not underestimate PSU. Oregon barely beat Wisconsin and PSU beat them by 15 both at Wisconsin. It’s a long season for all teams and you can’t beat up on everyone.
The big deal is that there's finally the beginnings a system to actually generate empirical data instead of rewarding human bias regarding ranking and bowl selection, which impacts cash distribution. One game doesn't "prove" anything, instead just enjoy 'em :) If BSU wins, even wins big, it doesn't "prove" xyz. Likewise if PSU wins.

@@bryanpbrowning8620 Keep this same energy if BSU loses. SMU played this game with us for two weeks about how they were faster and would pass all over us. Then all SMU fans, media, and supporters disappeared after the game. Please, don't disappear.
If the season was only one game, and that one game was the big ten championship against Oregon, Penn State is 0-1. -8 points on the year. Boise can easily win.
Always grateful😊 very appreciative Thankyou BJ😊 GO BRONCOS🎉
You clearly didn't watch their DL dominate SMU to force the interceptions

You guys have an interesting take. Maybe Boise should be favored. Doesn't sound like PSU has much of a chance. Maybe they should stay home.
