Love the review of the floor plan. Great marketing idea, pre-trashed trailer homes, get them while they are hot. Throw in free delivery and a yard car and we got a deal.
Chris is part of the reason I started my own demolition company!! Mobile homes are not my favorite things to demo especially due to that dang frame. Just when you think you've got a good bundle in hand, you end up grabbing the entire freakin' frame. I have to admit though, I find myself talking to myself when I'm working in the excavator...and I say the words "god awful mess" a lot. Thank you Chris lol.
Watching you sort through the trash with the bucket reminded me of a time years ago when I helped clean up a rental home. I was going through and picking up garbage when, lo and behold, laying under a matress was a double ended plastic pant antler! Makes me laugh, now, especially thinking about how amusing it would be to watch you making the same find and shaking it around with the excavator, lmao.
I rented a D6 last year and done some clearing on my property, had a mobile home that I crushed with it. It was quite enjoyable but now I need to burn the pile of rubble.
I love when an excavator operator tears away the exterior (versus pushing everything in). It allows viewers to see inside while the demo progresses. Fun! Years ago there was a video on TH-cam of a guy doing a demo of a trailer that had caught on fire. One side of the trailer was damaged by fire - mostly the master bedroom and kitchen. The other side of the trailers appeared to be perfectly fine. As the excavator operator tore off the outside wall to the other bedroom, it revealed a kids bedroom in perfect condition - loaded with bunk beds and toys - everywhere. There was even a large globe beachball hanging from the ceiling. The operator had a field day destroying EVERYTHING - smashing and trashing the bunk beds and all of the toys! He even ran over the big globe beachball with the excavator! BOOM!!! He was brutal and spared nothing! LOL I can see you doing the same thing! I’ve tried to find that video. I guess that guy is no longer on TH-cam.❤

I worked at the local dump for years and I would always use old mattresses to sweep the tipping floor. JD410G with a 3 way bucket pinch and float it worked like a charm the springs and stuff cleaned the concrete like a giant sos pad..... smashing stuff with a tractor and getting paid to do it never gets old
Chris, I once lived in a '72 x '10 because of circumstances moving somewhere with impossible home prices and the inability to rent anything decent because I had pets. I hated that trailer, but it served a purpose. When the time came for our next move, I would have taken the loss to have as much fun as you had making this video. Though I hated living in a trailer (mobile mansion), I took care of that unit and sold it eight years later for a break-even price (less the loan interest). Since the mortgage was five years, and I never paid rent the last three years owning it outright, I ended up far ahead had I found a pet-friendly rental. Regardless, crushing it would have thrilled me. I laughed so hard watching this. Thanks for making this video. Happy New Year to you and all your subscribers.

Great video Chris. Too bad you mangled them axles as most people in my area buy them and reuse them as homemade trailer axles for utility trailers. They fetch $120-250 dollars here. As far as the frame buckling that's typical late 70's mobile home framework.
You bent/broke the frame of that so easily, it really makes me question all those home made trailer-house trailers on craigslist labeled as "Heavy Duty"... lol. Thanks for the video!
