I think you've done a good job at translating it ! ♥ When I first read the lyrics in the single's booklet I was a bit confused, and though I just didn't understood some kanjis but it's the first time i'm seeing a translation and it fits the reading i had in japanese. :) I kinda think it is a very sad song about how they wanna leave in a spaceship because their lives on earth is too miserable ... Guess there are a lot of metaphors as you said, but really, it be the music and the lyrics makes me think it is just very very sad. (Or, as you said, it is just Takumi and Daichi writting this in own little world xD) Sorry for the long comment, but thanks for your work :)
