What garden would be complete without potatoes? We aren't particularly huge potato eaters, but every year we make sure to get a few in the ground for summer meals. We use a combination of containers and no-dig methods to grow our tatties.

I saw the word "tatties" and thought you'd be Scottish, lol. That's what we call them. Hello from a Scot now living in Ireland. :) Edited to add, just heard you say you're in Scotland..now I'm homesick. I like Shetland tatties too but also plant a mix of store bought. Blight is a huge problem here though.
