I got one nice 8 pointer during bow the last weekend of September. It was my first with the crossbow. He was coming off a food source into cover. Then during the second day of gun hunting I shot an older 8 pointer that was the biggest one I ever shot. Really thick antlers. Love your videos.

Not even any that pass through in the middle of the night or one's that come through during the rut?

It's my 1st year deer hunting, I've only gotten 1 deer so far. It's a great first deer for myself & my custom rifle build. He was a 10 point. Almost has 11 but that last point isn't but 3/16" long. I don't think it counts technically? It's actually only deer I've shot this year. I was hoping to fill my doe tags too. Still have little bit of time. Unfortunately I don't have many places to hunt. 2 properties I need to be invited. Other is inlaws property which I can go whenever but it's gotten hammered really hard by their kids & family. So deer went completely nocturnal there. If deer do go nocturnal which would be better to try get a doe late season, morning or evening?? Thanks

Doe movement to a good food source works like clockwork. That's what I'd focus on.
