If I had the resources I would sue Dischem too. They had my wife arrested for a similar situation. We were regular customers and know the staff by name at Dischem Makhado mall. They refused for me to be with my traumatised wife in a back room. They refuse to show you footage. Head office is not interested in showing you footage. Their response was "we cannot prove if she is innocent or guilty". If it was not for a helpful Magistrate and Police that saw it was ridiculous, my wife would have had a criminal record. The issue is the trauma never goes away. We had to work through a really difficult time after our ordeal. My wife literally shakes when we walk past a Dischem. She still has trauma from the incident. I don't have the resources to sue them or do anything about it. My wife cannot relive what happened to her. So we just have to live with it! They are horrible horrible people!
