Nah, this game is good, but Mighty No 9 doesn't really fall behind far. People should stop judging the original Mighty No 9 just because it doesn't feel like a 4 million budget game.
Honestly the quality is same, except maybe in the graphic, i understand some people prefer 2D sprites than 3D models. I wish fans stop being salty about the 4 million budget.
Would you be interested in trying out the Boktai Series? That's four games in total, only the third one was JP only but there's a fan translation that's apparently completed.

Wow, these fights are so damn slow. The bosses spend huge amounts of time invincible. It's almost impressive.
Pyrogen, Elise, Brandish and Mr. Happiness are DLC bosses, which means, the base game only has 5 bosses.
