We’re still trying to recover from Beryl. The amount of trees that this hurricane uprooted was insane. It hasn’t stopped raining for us to be able to clean up. The ground is sloshy and gross. Praying we get a break soon. We couldn’t even prepare accordingly for a new storm at this point. The whole greater Houston area is struggling.
6 weeks of no rain here is SW Virginia must mean 6 weeks of rain to follow. My corn loves it, my tomatoes not so much!
@@politicallyapathetic8471 Meanwhile WNC is awash in rain for the last week. ⛈️
@@christinearmington southeast kansas has been kind of dry lately with more heat to come. Send some my way homie lol
You can have some of ours. I think we got like 1-2 days without rain here in Texas after the hurricane. We are at max capacity. We can’t take anymore.
I'm in Central VA. and I lost most of my corn and tomatoes. Unfortunately, the rain didn't get here in time. The tomato's I do have left are busting open from the extra water. Oh well. Thats the way it goes, I guess.
I don't mind the rain everyday. But I need about 3 dry days to get my grass cut.
I can't get ahead of mine. St. Petersburg, Fl. Every evening popup thunder/lightning/rain. I've been forced to use the weed whacker.
Lots of rain and crazy humidity for weeks here in Wilmington NC...
BC Canada really needs some rain, like there’s rain coming but it’s not going to be enough to do major damage to the wildfires.
It’s too hot in Miami and I wouldn’t be surprised if something does comes this way
Just subscribed to your channel. You make things really easy to understand for non-meteorologists like myself! Thanks so much I have a good pic of what the next few weeks will be like.
Getting pretty darn hard to get the grass cut in North Georgia.
Awesome channel Direct Weather.
Extreme !! ON the east coast where at we in a drought in south Carolina like most on the east coast
It's going to get wetter in the East Coast
In Delaware where I’m at we’re none too wet. We’ll be needing rain towards the middle to end of next week.
In NC, it's hot and humid, with enough rain to keep you from mowing the grass, and a lot of trees falling over, this video makes me think of hurricane hugo, where we were without power for 3 weeks, I think based on our current struggles, it would be longer then 3 weeks this time.
We did 6 days in Florida with Irma. Thought I would die. I cannot imagine 3 weeks!
@@yellowbird5411 I don't remember it being that bad, but its been awhile, still have the generator that I bought after hugo, great insurance haven't needed it much since Ha Ha
Here in southwest Virginia we the rain.
We still don’t have enough rainfall in central Florida.
Thank you
Why the extreme title?
Certain years you see the Sahara dust get out into the Atlantic and kill storms. This year there is some dust out there now and I think it's going to limit storms again this year. Without it sure looks like a great year for an active hurricane season but if the dusts persist I think it's another hurricane season bust. By bust I mean significantly lower than the season prediction center's.
Your awesome 😎 ❤
Let’s see some more updates about the 2024 to 2025 winter season predictions. I’m in northern Illinois and I do snow removal.
You'll have one of your best years, get your maintenance done early.
I hope I don’t get hammered with another hurricane In the greater Houston area
Not sure where you get your info from but according to the NHC there is NO development for the next 48 hours, this is as of 11:00am on 2-26-24.
Planning a birthday party on Saturday Aug 3rd in New York. Think I should get a tent? Thank you
No complaints I thank You Lord Yahusha for whatever You give. Amen.
Going on a cruise to Bahamas last week in August….. how’s it looking???
Impossible to say any specifics but overall the August to October timeframe will present an elevated chance of tropical activity. As we get close we can pin down that specific week. Really tough time of year to travel in the tropical Atlantic.
Nobody 😞 n earth knows what the weather will be like next week more less next month
Meanwhile, while y'all have been getting soaked to the south, the MDV (MD/DC/VA) area is in moderate to severe drought. I've only had 1.69" of rain at my home wx station in June and July (so far), and all the lawns around here are straw-colored from lack of moisture.
Great forecasting
9:40 A little squirrel tying to hold it back. (In the center purple one.)
Everyday , same shit
Oh Pewp!
It would change 10 times before even get to a destination because of the computer
The GFS says the complete opposite
I don't know where all this rain is they keep talkn bout ...... here in North Georgia, we're only getting spotty light to moderate showers , if your lucky enough to be under one. They keep spraying the skies and any storm that approaches, just dissipates to nothing .
Down in SE central ga, it’s ridiculous with rain. I had to waste dump water out my pool twice in 12 hrs. Last Friday we got more than 3” in an hour& 1/2! I feel for y’all up there, but I would be happy to share!
Miami no rain
I wish all the weather channels wouldn't overlay so much I can't see where I am and what's going on here. Cable and mainstream weather [gag] used to be so easy to follow. Now everyone's over-overlaying. EVERYone!
So since they are trying to green up the desert In africa are future generations are gonna have bad hurricanes since no more dust storms 😢
I haven’t heard of this, so thank you for mentioning it. That’s a terrifying thought as I live in the Deep South. That’s a piece of information I need to pass on to my grandson.
My corn died from no rsin
Got to stop with these titles.
“A monsters brewing” showing a huge hurricane that probably won’t come. 🙄
It’s ten days out, relax
Well So many Americans feeling abaned and are hurting right now so if I had a song for Democrats on our way out it would be Angie Stone Sunshine has come, Theirs no more rain in this cloud.
WV…… nuthin, light sporadic rain.
Not rain for northwest Indiana at all this weather people lie all the time like snow
Time stamps
South is getting HAMMERED with rain and storms
I hope they don't have to deal with any more hurricanes
