About the last bit I kinda wanna give a bit of my life, even tho no one asked, maybe someone had a similar year and it's nice to know you're not alone. 2016 (since september) and 2017 are thus far the worst years for me (I'm 20 so I can't really talk about many others) I've lost my grandmother (last one I had), my aunt (died on an accident), my dog and my cat (That I had for over 10 years), I failed at College like 3 times and couldn't find a job during the meantime, my mother had many breakdowns as in she actually wanted to die and what not, fortunately having such things as this podcast and many other entertaining videos and such I could get through that without being as depressed and sad as I actually would've been otherwise. I'm pretty thankful to every entertainer on this website, ofc including this podcast and many other creators.

As someone who fought before, it is a BIG disadvantage, unless you are in top global shape, punching upwards doesn't carry the same strength and tires you much more than punching downwards, did you ever notice that after some rounds, punches get really slow, relatively, and dragged out? Your wording in the wiping survey was somewhat misleading and I think that might have made for unreliable results. You needed to be more specific about what "from the front" and "from the back" mean. I immediately assumed "from the front" meant starting from the front (the area closest to the front of the body) and wiping to the back. Then "from the back" would be the opposite. Then Ethan said he is in the "from the front" category, even though what he describes is starting from the back and wiping to the front...and I realized my error.
Oh. He means wiping with your _arm_ in front of you or behind you. Not the position of the point of first contact in relation to the body's forward facing side, but whether one of your extremities was approaching *literally* from the front. Not front-to-back from a third person perspective. Arm-to-body from a first person perspective.

If you watched any of the episodes where Ethan talks about wiping (easily at least 5 episodes) he means, do you wipe by going in from behind your butt, or do you lift up your balls and go in from the front.

As someone who fought before, it is a BIG disadvantage, unless you are in top global shape, punching upwards doesn't carry the same strength and tires you much more than punching downwards, did you ever notice that after some rounds, punches get really slow, relatively, and dragged out? That's muscle exhaustion, your arms start filling heavy, and the higher you punch, the harder it gets, exponentially
I worked for a guy who was a golden glove and was like 6' 7' and he would tell me that about that advantage, but how it was harder to block because he was freakishly tall.
Who are you to be giving advice on this ? Have you ever fought before ? I did kick boxing and I can tell you having a superior height over someone is a very big advantage to have.. the taller person will more than likely have a greater reach, which helps significantly when your actually trying to sleep your opponent.
