Im about to install my knuckles and i was wondering which tie rods did you ended up using and did you had rubbing on your lca at full lock? Beautiful video btw!🔥😁
@@XIIIchilango Sorry, just seeing this now. Thank you man!! I ended up having a friend shorten my tie rods by 10mm each and didnt have any rubbing issues!
Great video! Straight to the point and very relaxing to watch. No distracting talking lol Also love the way your car is styled. I'd do something like that if it wouldn't cause so much attention from the cops here in norcal 😭
Hey bro im a little late but love the video, definitely got a new sub man keep up the great work!! Im planning on getting a miata pretty soon and im about to start binge watching your videos!
I think what is probably happening is the nut is seized to your ball joint threads, so when you loosen it it's just spinning the ball joint around. Are you using an impact or just a ratchet?
2:36 I dont know why i see this so often but on youtube i see enthusiasts use torque wrenches wrong all the time, the same way too. you pull till it clicks to get the specified torque, if you keep pulling after it clicks youre over torqueing the bolt/nut making it pointless to use a torque wrench in the first place
Hey man it’s a long shot in the dark since it’s been over a year since this video but I ordered the same knuckle & was wondering if I can run stock brake lines (no rack spacers or any other front end modifications)
Woohoo! Thanks man! The stock brake lines worked great with the knuckles. I later added the destroy or die rack spacers and at that point it had enough angle that I needed to add extended brake lines. With just the knuckles though, stock brake lines work fine!
LOL yeah there's no good way to jack up the car from the front so it ends up just teeter tottering back and forth. I tighten all my lugs with a torque wrench afterwards, I just don't film it usually!
Hey there nice video with quick installation!!! I have a 99 NB and i was wondering if I can put this on ( i dont have whell spacers my rims are 16x7 and i have abs) can i put them with this stats??
Hey! i'm not sure exactly but youre most likely going to run into some clearance issues at full lock. In the video i am using 16x7+30 wheels with a 28mm spacer
yo would you recommend a miata now after have the G? Or would you say just save for something like a G, 350z, etc. I am 6'2 so have been worried about fitment, plus I hear miatas are a bit of a pain in the ass on the track to not spin out with. Figured i'd ask!
So sick, with the front tyres I wouldn't flip fronts, I've done it and know others that have and there's hardly any grip, I'd get new and put them ones on the back and finish them off dude
Thanks man! I literally just got em flipped yesterday haha, one of my friends has a tire machine so it wasn't too big of a deal. I'll keep an eye on the grip but yeah I might just end up ordering some new tires soon
@@GARAGE33 yeah that's decent then man, just when you go onto lock and the lead tyre either goes flat or over to the outside you won't have much grip especially in the wet, just a heads up man
@@urgegamer5180 I'm guessing you own a mx5/Miata and fitting knuckles and rack spacers? Best easy to do so is to cut the tie rod to the desired length, have it welded together and then also a metal sleeve welded on top which is fairly long over the top of the welded section of the tie rod to add strength, if that makes sense
@@GARAGE33 Guessing at this point you've already done this. But for anyone else you can run 6mm rack spacers with stock tie rods, just swap the locking nut out for a half width one. That's what I did at least and it gives you enough adjustment to zero out the toe. Love the car man, wish I'd got an NA not an NB.
Why does it seem like that went way too smooth 😂👌🏼 great job!
Hahahaha the power of editing 😂. But in general it was crazy how easy it was!
Thats what i was thinking lmaoooo
Seen the car everywhere. But just found this channel. Great style. So cool
If anyone has questions I can try to answer them!

didnt expect to be dancing
Nice! How do you know how much to adjust the tie rod? (toe) thanks!
Please Explain how I can get that upper control arm off, I was trying to get it off for like an hour, I need help!

This was so satisfying to watch. Thanks!
Thank you! Much appreciated
So the knuckles are just bolt in? No arms or anything fancy required?
Looking good. Subscribed for more Miata
Stock length brake lines?

what is the spec on your power drill. About to ask google but a visual reference sells it

Can I add this mod without changing anything else and still have it work good?
can I camber a Miata and add an angle kit?
Where you buy that part?
Destroy or die's website, not sure if they make this style anymore
What’s your wheel and tire setup? Fits perfect.
These were 16x7.5+30 with a 28mm spacers and 195/45/16 tires I believe
😭 these were the days 💝 a much simpler time
Omfg. I thought that car was going to fall off the jack the way he was putting it on the stands. And those lugs so loose 😱

@@GARAGE33 uhhh use the front jacking point and some 2x4s under the wheels instead of raping your pinch welds like this

This is the most no fucks given jacking ever.... Love it lol
😂😂😂
do you have any problems with rubbing? thinking about picking some up myself
Not at all, I believe you can fit a 15x8+0 wheel. Mine are 16x7 +30 with a 28mm spacer and i have plenty of clearance even with rack spacers
