Holiday Spice sounds good, Yankee's Home Inspiration line has one called Spiced Holiday and Woodwick has Holiday Spice as well. I have them both and re-purchased Holiday Spice. Great spicy red currant and anise scent. Praline Pecan looks like a nice scent for November. We all like Snickerdoodles. I'd like to get Snowy Sleigh Ride; I picked up Snow Day at T.J. Maxx and liked the minty fresh aroma on cold. Iced Sugar Cookie looks great. If Ross gets any Homeworx candles in like Pumpkin Spice, Cinnamon Peach Latte, and Heirloom Orchard, they're $14.99 each and if you get them at T.J. Maxx, they're $16.99 each or 2 for $37. I have Yankee's 3 wick Cozy Fall Picnic burning now and it has a good throw. Nice haul Mel.

Love the journey tee! A fave all time band of mine that I never got to see live and without Steve Perry…nah for me lol😂 I love the Homeworx candle I purchased a couple of months back. It’s the Hibiscus Flower and it’s oh so good. I love the florals and only concern myself with those typically but it doesn’t hurt for me to also have plain white tea lights to go with the HW candle on a spa night. Just paid a couple medical bills for a trip to the ICU a couple of weeks back so candles are basically on hold for right now…so I am enjoying what I cot for a bit. I will survive lol.

If it is one thing I learned from watching your candle reviews is that you cannot always go by the cold sniff when judging a candle. I have gotten candles based on your enthusiasm for certain fragrances, specifically Kringle Country Sanctuary and the Apple Cider Cake. On cold sniff I did not like Apple Cider Cake but when burning it is totally different and I really like it. I did get a Homeworx candle at TJ Maxx, Autumn Pinecone and I loved it. Right now waiting for when BBW drops Cinnamon and Clove Buds 3 wick candles in the stores.

LOVE that Snowy Sleigh Ride on cold! Great haul Melanie. I bought Holiday Spice last year, thinking it would be like what you were hoping too. I ended up selling it because it just wasn’t for me.
It's so good! But that spice is for sure not a pomander scent. I will burn it and review it, but it's for sure not what is advertised.
My order finally shipped today! I am sure I will be ordering again soon though since new ones seem to drop on the website every week. I am going out of my wheel house and will try the snowy sleigh ride since you mentioned liking it and we share similar scent preferences! Thanks for the reviews!

These are the candles I've been wanting to hear about. I had Holiday Spice in the 3 wick from one trio set. I think in 2019, but not sure. I love snowy outdoor scents so may need Snowy Sleigh Ride.
That snowy sleigh ride is FABULOUS! Honestly, I was a little hesitant when looking at the notes but glad I bought one now!
How can someone be mean to you smh 😟 your so sweet and you are honest and very relatable people these days just don’t have manners so we have to just take their rudeness with a grain of salt.. I think you are wonderful and when we even chat outside of TH-cam you have really been the sweetest person so they are just being jealous you have a ton of people who really enjoy your content 👍👍❤️
Oh it's honestly ok, just par for the course of putting yourself out there. Personally I can't imagine saying some of those things to another person, but I think I was raised differently lol. The rule was, if you don't have anything nice to say, shut yer trap lol. It's easy to think things in your head and not let them out, especially if you know you are going to potentially hurt someone emotionally with your words. All that being said, I have never taken anything anyone has said about me (in a nasty way) to heart. I think the fact that I am older makes me immune to actually caring lol.
Hi Melanie. Your Homeworx discount code is getting some good use here in my home, thank you! Okay, I know batches can vary with candles pertaining to strength, etc, so I know that some will find a good throw while another person gets little to no fragrance. I just got the 4 wick iced sugar cookie and it was so light on cold and I burned it last night for 1 1/2 hours (totally pooled out) and nothing, I could not detect anything. Now I will say, prior to burning this candle, I had been burning the salted caramel cake which has a good 7-8 throw and perhaps my nose was blinded from the earlier fragrance burned or maybe the iced sugar cookie fragrance will come out in later burns, so I am trying again right now burning iced sugar cookie to see if any fragrance can be detected. Snickerdoodle was VERY light so I placed is aside to try later down the road to see if curing will help. I know you found Harvest Donut extremely light and yet mine had a 7/10 throw. I ordered two more! I picked up snow tipped pine and winter fireside from TJMAX and both of them on cold seem to have good strength. I love spooky Vanilla and just ordered another of that as well as seasons greetings because I remember you saying in an earlier video you really liked that fragrance and said it was guest friendly. I heard the aromatherapy candles are all very strong, so I passed on those. I wanted to let you know BBW has the cutest FOX pocket bac holder (for your daughter). They actually have 2, its the one with the long tail that is adorable. I saw it in the store, it would be a great stocking stuffer for her!
ok, I have been burning the iced sugar cookie for 1 1/2 hours now for the second burn and I am getting some fragrance now, although light at a 5 to 5 1/2, it does smell good!..... UPDATE: OK it's now been burning for 2 1/2 hours and it is a good 6 -6 1/2, so for those who have not burned their 4 wicks be patient the oils may take a few burns to fully disperse.
I also think peoples smellers are different from day to day and scent to scent…I like to not take risks so I shop scents I only know I love in many variations. For me that’s the florals but need a pumpkin scent in the fall.
So if you find at Homegoods sleigh ride the one with the Santa well SnowySleigh Ride are the exact notes

I’ll be curious to hear if you get Christmas joy and what you think of that. Every time I sniff it I get something different but it definitely has that citrus note!
I've been so curious about Snowy Sleigh Ride, but I'm holding out hope that it'll show up at TJ Maxx. My current "fresh scent" obsession is Sweater Weather. It is so very good on cold. I may just pull one out to burn this weekend.

So weird I got a 4 wick in the sugar cookie & it was very very light on cold sniff almost didn’t smell anything hopefully stronger while burning!!
I will certainly compare my 4 wick that I ordered when it comes!
same here, my 4 wick i could not smell anything burning (only burned once for 2 hours, maybe later burns will be better)
Melanie, I wanted to let you know what I have stumbled across! I just had a 5th Homeworx candle which lost a wick (4 different fragrances). What was happening was one of the wicks would begin migrating towards the glass while the other 3 stayed put. Then halfway down, that moving wick fell into the wax and when I attempted to retrieve, the entire wick would be floating on top. It appears this is happening because the wick is not attached securely to the wick base. What I have noticed is it's the same wick placement of all 5 candles! When I sit the candle with the label facing me, it's the same wick. Perhaps this indicates a mechanical problem in the factory. I am going to contact Homeworx to give then this tidbit of info. I have had no problems burning the candles with 3 wicks, I just use a Homeworx hurricane to help it pool out.
That could very well be. I certainly hope we have given HomeWorx enough reviews to try to identify the problems and hopefully make corrections for the upcoming spring and summer seasons. I think that is when most realistically we can probably expect changes. They pour the candles a couple of seasons ahead it seems like.
I didn't order iced Iced Sugar Cookies because I stocked up on the Christmas Cupcake candle. Just curious if you feel they are significantly different scents or similar enough that if you have one you probably don't need the other?
I think I prefer the sugar cookies myself. It's stronger. That being said, I am not sure there is enough of a difference for me to say go for it if you already have a huge backup stash.
@@MrKongsMom Thanks for the feedback. Of course I stocked up on Christmas Cupcake because I thought it would sell out (QVC). It was the hob nail vessel. After burning I realized it was a softer scent throw. They've been sitting for awhile now. So I'll find out soon if sitting for a bit intensifies the fragrance. If not I'll burn two at a time. Might try Iced Sugar Cookie if still available with next sale. Appreciate you!
Please, I have to know if Praline Pecan smells like the roasted candy pecans from inside of Bass Pro Shop? I have been searching for a genuine authentic candle that evokes a roasted sugar pecan. Love your thoughts and insight on Homeworx and Kringle.
I have unfortunately never visited a bass pro shop in my life. I would not even know where to find one lol. Is it worth seeking one out for candles?????
@@MrKongsMom well…they have a small eclectic area for candles that look homemade and unique. I don’t know about the performance of them but they’re fun. They have some that are housed in a tin cup or ceramic type reusable bowl. I personally shop at Bass Pro around Christmas to see Santa with the kiddos. The store usually has an employee making the candied pecans and different type of nuts in the toys and gift shop area. The entire area smelled like grandma’s house at Christmas back when I was a kid. It’s an experience if you happen to be around one. It’s a hunting apparel and gun merchandise store that my husband loves. I go for the home decor and the cinnamon glazed pecans. They also have a large fish tank area that the kids love to gawk at. Lol
The praline pecan is on my list to grab on the next sale! 🤞🏻
