Oooo, shiny! The willingness to walk away from bad spots is the key to finding the good one. People get to caught up with the idea they will find it if they move heaps and forget to actually find it.
Thanks vogus! I could have easily kept digging the first spot after pulling good gold there previously but after watching many of your videos I knew it was time to move on! 6 months ago I would have dug one massive hole for very little gold. Using your way of thinking "work smarter not harder"
Thanks Chris I've only just started to work out the editing side to the videos. Opens up alot more opportunities for me show my adventures instead of just the plain action shot of me digging! Thanks for subscribing!
Hi BG, Thanks for the video and advice. Myself and Blake from Blue dog prospecting have been doing some test panning at a creek junction and I have had no luck at all. Might start looking up in the banks for that flood gold next trip after we move a large rock where Blake found a bit as we were leaving last trip. Dennis
Thanks gold den I've seen a fair few of blakes videos! Creek junctions are a good place to be looking I didn't show in the video but there is a small feeder creek entering my main creek about 20m upstream from where I was digging. Could be gold coming from the feeder creek as well? When looking on the flats of the banks look for anything that would allow the gold to drop out of the flood. I look for logs and sticks caught up on trees or even after a fresh flood have a look for where the vegetation has been uprooted. Means it flows hard through that section but quite often it can be where a nice flood paystreak is! If you blokes are ever down my way (East gippsland) give me a bell I'd love to get out on the creek with you guys for a prospect and talk a bit of bulls#>t! Thanks for taking the time to watch the video. Cheers
That's it mate got to get away from everyone else to find that good stuff! Makes it well worth the effort when your bringing home multiple grams per day!
Very nice take man👍I always have a plan but when I get there I listen to my instincts and am drawn to somewhere else and find gold.it also helps to be able to read the stones where they are lying and what size gravells are beside the big rocks.I can dowse but feel like I'm automatically doing that anyway.if I lived in Australia I would find loads but I'm in the uk.I did find a 7.5g nugget like but don't think I'll ever find anything that big again.I think it was beginner's luck.😂😁👍🌟🌟🌟
Thanks man a 7.5g nugget would be insane my biggest to date panning is 2.14g so your doing real well and so true about knowing the rocks and and gravels I need to learn alot more about that! Thanks for watching man I appreciate it!
Great vid and advice mate. Loving that spray bar setup, makes mine look a bit agricultural. Will plan a trip your way soon but, as you know, we have a patch to clean. Keep up the great work
Thanks mate I got the idea from another mate I seen his set up a few weeks back and I couldn't fault it so I thought why not do the same! Doesn't matter how it looks as long as it works. You will have to let me know when use plan on coming down
Hey mate my camera went for a swim in the water and worked fine one minute then the next it was all out of color! New camera now so I should have some good quality footage to come!
It was only a matter of time before ya got onto it again, top effort.. Are you sure your camera was playing up? I swear that was omo washing powder 😂😂😂

I really enjoyed it!!! Cool lighting !
Thanks mate it's been a tough few weeks on the creek with the water levels rising but starting to find some new spots!
Nice one buddy.
Thanks trav, I thought I'd had a ripper day until I seen what you and Daniel got! Put me in my place a little bit haha
@@beanysgold963 lol, yeah was well earned though, we did some bloody Bush bashing and steep climbing to get there.

Thanks I will jump on for a look after work it's definitely something i need to learn more of. Thank you
Hard work and test panning does pay off, that spray bar setup looks great.
Cheers GM
Thanks gerard I was pretty happy with the clean up, now to keep test panning and find where the chunky gold is hiding! Cheers
Great job my friend. You have a new subscriber. I think the gold is a little better where you live and I think I’ll pack up and move over 😂😁🤙
Nice vid, good gold!! Do something with the sound I have to crank mine up just to hear you. Thanks for sharing.
