I wouldn't say that cash is dead, money experts would say that card is worse because all you have is a number controlled by some people, it is always better to have commodities and bonds like Roth IRAs, real estate, precious metals and stocks and you are much more free with money in your hand rather than money with someone else and there isn't any hidden fees and interest.

A chore is added to the “job list” and when the kid is done they click done on their version of the app and the parents account sends the money into her account/card this can be used on a ATM and in stores i think its contact less aswell like if this helped
