No salute Indoors. Formations, Files & Drills demand salute or even work protocol demands salute. Here, it is a call on the President by TA. Did you notice the officers marching with the President were not wearing caps? Without cap a salute cant be done, hence it is a notation that it is an informal event and no salute is required.
