Hi Autodoc, i bought the same tool to compress the spring but the shock would tilt making it impossible to align the strut into the top mount. I see in your video you look to use what looks likes a small circular weight for counterbalance , do you happen to know the dimensions or thickness of this small piece of metal?

My brake disc was impossible to remove.. Used lubrication, hammer and heat.. No f... way.. Was still able to replace my shock absorbers. But it would be nice to get that disc removed when time comes to replace it. Any tips or tricks??

why is this cheating? he didnt damage anything. i've seen everyone lowering the control arm down to take out the balljoint. It can be hard sometimes but still faster than removing entire control arm.

You are right. Those lower arms have hydrobushings and they can be damaged doing like that.
