Paper over the cracks Essendon. The quality of AFL in general has really dropped these days since the addition of the franchise era. Good to see I’m not missing out on much.

Nah in the first half I feel like Essendon actually got some softer frees, most of them were there but softer, I feel like the umpiring was mostly fair, a little inconsistent towards both sides though

The last 5 mins REALLY showcases how the Crows don’t have a forward line. It’s hopeless, the least effective of all teams.
The Crows have a forward line, just a dysfunctional one. Really need to improve accuracy when their backs are against the wall. Honestly should have won that by a good 3 goals
Tim Haskard plus they have lost a lot of star guns to other club and we got a lot of youngsters yet to become stars in 2-3 years but Tex needs to shape up cos it ain’t good enough

Bomber fan here, that was a real letoff. Crows played better against the Saints and are on their way up eventually. Whether Essendon are a different side when Shiel returns is another matter. Laverde was starting to look the real deal then another injury. This guy is so unlucky

That was a really fun enjoyable game to watch. I don’t think the state of the game is too bad
Nice to see some sprit some fight and some method, but every loss gets us closer to a rebuild boon draft haul AFC has not had in it's history. Bring on the spoon.

I'm actually happy about this game as a Crows supporter even though we lost at home. Finally some grunt shown against a good side.
Nice to see the boys play better Footy. Obviously can do better but it's a better change to see them be even a little more successful in different situations

It's really confusing to me to see Gibbs not be a part of Adelaides senior's. The guy was busting down the doors of the all Australian squad years ago several years in a row. He's a great player in the right position I no I'm a Carlton fan and used to watch Gibbs create magic. Is his career over because it seams a huge waste. I'm so sick of hearing that the "harden up" camp killed these crow's, that's just hard leftism not reality. Bomber's you need to work harder than that becase your a top 4 team, prove it! I wonder if they really need Joe Daniher? If the swans want to pay up for him maybe going to the draft with a few early picks would be good? Get some good young talent around Smith Sheil and stringer, good footy for decades.
Diesel 84 eh I’m an Essendon supporter but claiming them to be a potential Top 4 side is a bit of a stretch. I mean what teams of note have we actually beaten this year? Collingwood and that’s about it. Every other team we’ve beaten hasn’t exactly been a top 8 side And the doggies gave us a hiding, I know we weren’t at full strength but that shouldn’t happen to a potential top 4 side. A real top 4 side would have the depth in players that they wouldn’t struggle so bad against bottom teams like Adelaide even with a few key outs. The next couple of weeks will be the real test with going up against decent teams like GWS and Brisbane, even if Essendon can’t win they need to at least be close games to show we’re competitive with the better sides. Because as it sits I’d say we are about a middle of the ladder team at best.

Also i hate the crows cause of their fans, The club it self, lack of culture, tex, a and the fact that the crows were in the afl and not port originally kinda ticks me. Also at primary school i always get treated crap from other kids because they were crows supporters and i was a port supporter. And my friend was a saints fan and alwayed been treated like crap is well. Worst thing about the club is that they ruined Andrews mcclouds history as they ribbed off pictures of him in the club it self. Thats why i hate the crows.

The crows were absolutely robbbed by the umps. We were by far the better team and deserved the win. Essendon looked atrocious though, they won't make the 8, they looked like a bottom 4 team.
1pd I mean yes that’s a big true but also our form is terrible (but we are improving 10-15% each week) and we got a lot of young players who need more experience. Also why we suck at the moment is because we lost a lot of stars to other clubs since AFL Grand Final in 2017 which that didn’t help us. Give the Crows 2 or 3 years and we will be back in the Top 8 hopefully
