omg I'm impressed by the way she knows how to manage curly hair properly, she respected your natural curl pattern and didn't decide to straighten it, I love it ♡
@@oceanvibes222 Correctly identifying a hair type isn't gatekeeping. It's literally just pointing out a fact? Also someone mentioned it being a perm, so. When people overtype their hair, that causes a lot of issues, including them using products not meant for their hair type and then complaining when it doesn't "work" for them, all the while it was never meant for their hair type. You just dont talk. However, you have to credit to the small talk over all. Japan is different. I know that the hairdresser I saw, she and I made small talk at first, but as I went to see her more. She and I were catching up on how is your kid, how was the party you said you were going too, did you clean your car yet. We asked each other questions based on our last conversation. She would ask every visit if I had a boyfriend yet haha. Telling me how with my new haircut, it should earn me points. Little did i know she was the shop owner and such a nice lady! I dont love small talk either but it depends on the person. I do prefer silence though.

As a curly haired girl I know how you feel lighter after a cut! You’ll need a diffuser at the end of the hair dryer, otherwise the dryer will separate and frizz out your beautiful curls 😃 use gel before you dry and scrunch up your curls. You look good with shorter hair 😃
She definitely has circular patterns in her hair but she needs a diffuser otherwise the hair drier will separate the curls. Comb your hair while it's still fully wet then air dry or dry while using a diffuser. I personally don't use any extra products and it works fine for me.
We have all been there, the sadness when we had the first cut from long to short hair. It might be sad but it’s so satisfying to see the end (damaged) parts go ☺️ The cutting part is so relaxing 🧡
Speak for yourself - when my long hair fell? I fucking smiled like a loon. Never regretted it never will. And went from long to really short pixi cut style.
Your hair looks so much healthier now that she cut all of them thin ends off. Don't mistake thin and damage ends for length. You hair is so gorgeous 🤩 now. Hi from New Orleans
It's really amazing that she know how to handle curly hair, most of salon would just straighten it. I too have a curly hair and it's hard to find a salon that know to handle curly hair pretty well 😭
I'm impressed by this as well! Usually it would be straightened so it's not uneven if the person regularly straightens it but if you always go natural then this is a better way to cut it I think!
Watching the part where your hair gets put into sections around 05:00 was so tingly and relaxing! I know I would be loving it if I were in your place. Thank you again Twix-san and Camerasister-san!
When I took Japanese I was taught that there isn’t a direct translation for 「よろしくお願いします」but that’s the general idea :) I don’t understand all the nuance to it myself, but I’ve heard it said a lot
i have the same exact hair type as you! i had it permanently straightened for years and it did a lot of damage to not just my hair but also my scalp. i've stopped doing it since and embraced the curls :) it also just doesn't look right when the roots grow out curly with the ends straight. i'm glad you took a step forward and had this haircut, it suits you very well!
Beautiful! Cutting the perm really brought to life the volume and curls. I recommend using a blow dryer with a diffuser attachment on low heat/cold air to dry and set the curls. It’ll help protect your curls from heat damage and frizz. I wish they did head spas like this where I live!! Seems so relaxing 😌
This the best ever! Usually, in the U.S the salon ladies make small talk which can be tedious if your looking to relax. Then when they wash your hair, the stations are uncomfortable it strains your neck. And finally when blow drying, they burn your face or worse your ears. But this looks perfect! Your living the dream!
As a hairstylist and a fellow curly haired queen I can say the best products for your curly hair journey will be a diffuser to dry your curls beautifully and a styling foam to tame the frizz but not weigh your hair down and a leave in conditioner. Curls love and need moisture 💜
I can’t believe this video got over 600k views and only has 500k subscribers. Usually, the other way around! Thank you for providing us with the most relaxing content💕
I think your hair would be even curlier if you tried the curly girl method- plopping and not shake-drying it but diffusing it right after the plop. Separating the curls creates frizz
Such a lovely video, I felt as if I was there, enjoying this experience of your new Haircut.......your facial expression was so sweet, and your Stylist took such time in her artistry and talent.
I loved the look on your face when you saw how short your hair was for the first time.. Change is sooo good for a person.. I love your new hair, beautiful 🌸
With natural curls that are prone to frizz the best way to have curls is to put in a lot of conditioner and do not comb it after the last rinse, just put leave in things in it and then let it dry naturally. Do not do anything that pulls the curls apart like rubbing it with a towel, combing or blowdrying.
Wow she really liked her haircut short & curly she was smiling like a Cheshire cat lol.😸Love the idea of sitting in a hammock to get a haircut. ☺️ ♥️ your videos!! 👍
