You get 6,3,2,1 so net positive 3 mana when compared to 3 rolls. Probably only with it if you are confident you are ahead in the mid game. The extra mana for later could be useful.

All of the builds aren’t broken though. I tried for 3 hours to win a jump build game to no avail

If you brought Kitsune in on turn 10 you wouldn’t have had to empty a space in the squad, just put it and chimera in the last two spots
