Lovely video! I'm so excited to see David for the first time in my 61 summers on this earth. I have my tickets to the Hollywood Bowl show on October 30th. My grandson(18yrs old), my son(38yrs old) and myself will be attending. Three generations of love for music, guitar playing foremost! Such a joy to be able to share this with my sons.
Meeting my son there too, a different show… of course he lucked out having me take him as a youngster to see The Division Bell tour twice… have a blast!
We are all set for Rome , Oct 03rd …..can hardly wait . As a 65 yr old Dad with 2 lovely girls what wouldn’t I give to have some of David’s talent and the chance to share such wonderful moments with them . I’m glad I’m here 😊

I saw David and all the other awesome members of f the band perform in Vancouver, Canada, many years ago and watching him and his daughter Romney performed just brought back great memories that I will cherish forever. Thank you David, Rodger, Richard & Nick. Your music will live forever!
First album I ever bought was dark Side. Was hooked then with Dave’s guitar. I played now for yrs since 70’s. I have 3 kids and grand kids in my mid 60’s. Sang first time with my older daughter last yr in her 30’s. Can’t tell you how this vid made me feel, brought tears. Just SO COOOL! ❤
This was in my hometown. Not just that, about 10 minute walk from my house, if not closer. Could’ve just gone for a little stroll for a cheeky pint and seen the man himself. Oh well, on the upside I’m seeing him on Friday!!!

David Gilmour playing in a pub. Not something I ever expected to see. Although I did see David Bowie playing for free at the Greyhound pub in Fulham Palace Road in 1970 or so, which was after Space Oddity but before he really hit the big time.

I remember 50 years ago we were on vacation at a rest stop along the interstate. Dad handed me the keys and said "it's your turn to drive". Romany, it's your turn to drive now.
Wow, my dream is to meet David and shake hands with him (unfortunately I'm not good enough with my guitar to even think to play a single chord with him). His daughter is very good too, even if she did a couple of little mistakes, but hey, that's real life. I would love to meet Nick Mason and Roger Waters even if I think that he can be not an easy one. Sadly Rick Wright is not with us anymore, I almost cried when he passed away. Pink Floyd has been a great band because every member, in his way, was great. Ale
