Very useful video, thank you! An imprecision around 10:20: you need to size the document right, so you will always have a border around it you can use to activate rotation, zoom, etc, no matter how close you are to the subject you are working on.
And actually you can use right click mouse navigation so you don't need the borders at all. But with this device I guess all these confusing things are no longer an issue anyway. Too bad 420 euros is very expensive for what it is honestly
A great walkthrough, thank you! Was very seriously considering buying one of their models for working in Blender, Meshmixer, and various printer slicers (particularly for supporting models). As well as a couple CAD programs for CNC/prototyping work. I think you sold me on it. Don't think the price of the Enterprise is going to be worth the minimal additional functionality.
"A quick look" turns into over 40 minutes. I'm not complaining though. I need another 40 minutes of Fusion360 workflow tips with the Space Mouse Pro Enterprise
hey pablo, this is a really useful video. I just got a spacemouse to use on 3d apps and adobe products like photoshop and illustrator. I understand that it can only zoom and pan on PS (when not in 3d) which is great and just what I need, but even that isn't working. Do you have a video explaining how you set it up on photoshop?

ahhh yeah... with Photoshop is a little bit annoying the first time because you have to actually install the plugin for it (from the 3DConnexion drives > 3DxPhotoshop) the problem is that every time Photoshop opens you'll need to re-run the script it won't do it automatically, so I set up an action to automate that so one Photoshops opens it automatically runs the script.
@@aeonbreak4728 I got the Pro, not the SUPER Pro or whatever they call it, but the one in this video, and it works fantastically. i can't imagine going down to the tiny one, honestly. if you can get one used on Ebay, id suggest that. some people love em, some hate em and end up re-selling them. dirt cheap too.
Hi Pable, could you help me to map buttons and radial menus with blender? or maybe just a quick video of your setting? I am quite new and there is no tutorials on the web that helped me out with that. I would like to start from your settings with a little modification. Thanks in advance!!

humm do you mean the radial menu from Wacom or the buttons on the 3D SpaceMouse Pro?
I bought the wireless pro to work on Blender with a Mac M1. It seems I have not the possibility to program the buttons in the 3D connection settings menu. This is why also radial menu is not working inside blender but it actually works outside the program. In order to program the buttons I have to set them in blender preferences manually and switch normal controls to the NDOF specific ones. I really don know ho to solve it and 3d connection support told me that this Is a blender problem but i saw in your videos that you could manage to work it out
Just want to add my experience after 3 years using the 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse-Pro Wireless interface device. With the current MacOS Catalina drivers I am experiencing awful hyper-jerky movement using my 3Dconnexion SpaceMouse-Pro wireless when I try to zoom in for closeup work on a Sketchup-Pro model. Almost un-usable for any close work because the SpaceMouse is hyper-sensative to any movement of the control axis and flies wildly off into space in the model 50'ft away from where I was working on a 4"inch area of the model. Watch closely on the video insert of his hand movements and the effect on his model. You can see the same sort of hyper-sensative movement when this video reviewer uses it for close-in work. The 3Dconnexion control panel widget is turned down to the lowest "speed" setting and still for closeup work in a Sketchup model the SpaceMouse is just totally unusable. I will now NOT recommend any Sketchup users purchase a SpaceMouse for their Sketchup work ... just too frustrating and a time killer.
@PabloMunozGomez Yup I realized that after once my SpaceMouse Pro arrived yesterday! I tried it out with the swapped controls like I said in that comment, and was immediately like "Nope! That feels weird" and went right back to default settings 😂
Hi, i've watched the whole video, great quality, but the only advantage were the programmable buttons - the biggest selling point of the 3dspacemouse is to navigate in 3d space faster and with precision - which didn't happen I'm sorry for saying this and i hope you can make a video about moving into 3d space
no, I'm right handed. I don't know if there are variants for the mouse... I just re-maped the buttons to what I need and that I can easily control with my left thumb. I use a vertical mouse on my right hand
@ so why is the video showing a left hand or are you one of those apple freaks. apple mirrors images and video for some stupid arse reason. Cant be that, as the name on the mouse is in the correct direction so you are using your left hand in the video.

If you don't have to map shortcuts to any additional buttons, the compact version is perfect.

But isn't it inconvenient that you cannot rest your hand on the knob? Your hand needs to hover above it in the air rexcept when u use it, right?
not sure what you mean. You can rest your hand on the mouse it is very confortable
I think the pan up/down and the zoom in/out controls should be swapped.

your left handed, its a right handed 3d mouse.
