Here is the story : Mel & Hans Platz made a bet, which of Ding and Marching of Versailles would reach a million views first. Hans won and dared Mel to do a cover with him. That’s how all this begun, then Jenny and Morten joined when Napalm signed them for a full album.
Hello!! You know🤔.... Melissa Bonny😍... I don't know how to say this but DAMN she getting close for taking the lead on my list of favourite female metalheads😬😬😬😬... I never knew that could be even possible (and remember that hasn't happen yet☝️ and maybe it never will but I thought that Elize Ryd has SO solid place in it that no one could ever get near but now this beautiful talented lady has made me doubt my own feelings sbout it😂😂.... It just that she's so talented in everyway and when you see some interviews with her, she's such a sweet person😅😍 ....The other two members are from Faure.....🤔...... Freue....🤔..... THAT band that did that DING-song last year with Melissa😂😂... No☝️, Feuerschwanz was the name🤣...(such s terrible name if you ask me🤪)... But anyway, I don't know the backround story behind this band. (and yes, I think "a band" that they will do a full album at some point and I think this cooperation has something to do with Melissa's featuring with them🤔)...
I do remember this song from somewhere (I assume it was in the series somewhere)😅, don't remember where🤷... But with this version I have a bit divided thoughts🤔.. I loved some parts VERY much and especially that medieval melody and Melissa's soft singing and those "acoustic" parts and I even loved the heavy drums and instrumentation between singing etc. But if I'm completely honest, the harsh vocals with this kind of song sounded....🤔....well, I don't want to say "bad" but it didn't sound good to my ears😬... Many times these metal covers go a bit too far when they take the harsh vocals in it like it was (if you remember😅) with those few cover songs with Adrianne Cowan you did some time ago😬... It just ruins the mood some times a bit if they take it too far🤔... Never the less, the vocals sounded great and those parts with harsh vocals on backround over the cleans sounded very cool so it's not THAT bad, just a bit too much😂... Great cover still and very epic instrumentation and pleasing melody to follow🤘....

The "holy trinity" of Ad Infinitum, Feuerschwanz & Amaranthe members makes total sense & an awesome cover. I'm sure that their upcoming album will be worth the wait.
