I recently read Tress of the Emerald Sea and I couldn’t put it down! Sometimes Sci-Fi/Fantasy is hard for me to get into, but this book was SO fun and entertaining and mysterious and exciting! Anyway. I loved it. 😂
My favorite books are "A Voice in the Wind" by Francine Rivers and "To Kill a Mockingbird". Also, your shirt is amazing! I would love to know where you got it.
I 've neglected my kindle for awhile. Thank you for encouraging me to pick it back up again. The first 2 books you mentioned here sound very intresteing. I've been quite the history nerd in the past couple of years. What kindle case/cover do you have? It's beautiful!
If you haven’t already tried her books I would highly recommend Tamera Alexander!! They are my absolute favorite historical Christian fiction. Her new one is really fun too!
You should give us a video on an update about your phone usage! I know you made an initial video explaining your reasonings but it would be great to also see how its going being offline more, do you miss your phone apps, how its effecting your life with that time freed up, etc. 😇 also as an encouragement for other mamas too.
You should check out the book called The Woman in White by Wilkie collins. Its a long classic mystery and as much as you like Rebecca you would probably enjoy this one. What is cool is how each character tells their story so its cool seeing their perspective in the story and cool how he goes back and forth with the characters. I do recommend Rebeccas author other books
I just finished Rebecca, and you actually never find out the main characters name. I enjoyed it, but I wanted more from the ending. I agree, I like the creepy feeling without needing any supernatural force. I just put all these books on my TBR list!

The first book why she decided to stay when she stayed made me so sad! But it worked out perfectly--really pointed to allowing God's plan instead of trying to control our own futures.
Girl I was so shocked I made the team, I was dancing around the house! 🤣 She was/is my first ARC team. Oh goodness yes, I was so sad too, but it was understandable at the same time.
I was once looking at a lobster in a tank floating staring at me and i asked it, i wonder what it is you might think about our different worlds? The lobster took a moment and looked at me kinda sideways and said "Human beings are the only creatures on Earth "that claim a God. "And the only living thing that behaves like it hasn't got one. "Does the world belong to no one but you?" And when he said it, I was taken back. Not because of who was doing the talking, but because I finally understood the connection between children scavenging for food and shiny brass plates on the front doors of banks.
