I'm very happy to see Banky out in the free world! I met Banky back in the early 90s when I worked at Mecklenburg. He was one of the more down to earth people that I met in my 8.5 years working there. Best wishes in everything you do brother.

If you watched this man’s story you’d know he was convicted of armed robbery and murder. He was coming in when the three strikes laws came out . He thought that he was gonna get life. He was notorious for fighting and felt he had to fight to stay safe.
He paid for his crimes, and now wants to live his life happily.

for the aps army who dont know about the real prison system this man speaks real talk personally i did 12 yrs behind usp walls in federal prison and its a dog eat dog world were theres no place for weak and people pray on weakness much respects banky keep ur everyday fight with life strong i been out 3 yrs and its still a stuggle i was deported to mexico to a world i never lived in all my life in united states and its a everyday struggle out here were cartels still use strong arm and police curruption to clean up anyone in there way keep strong we are fighting this struggle together i get strenghth by listening to ur talk much respects from one og to the other aps army support this man to the fullest dont focus on the negativity he faced in prison grow from the positivity and change in this mans words good work joe much love and respect all the way from mexico
Facts I hope the best.i never did any real time but I knew a few people that done football numbers and alot of people have know idea what it's like for people when they get out after doing a really long time behind the wall.its got to be scary to come back out and see the world and how much has changed and having to adapt to a whole new way of living.

Hands down the best testimonial interview I've ever seen. So much in your face wisdom. I'm glad Banky made it out alive and in one piece.
Next time you see Banky ask him about his parents and his childhood growing up along with his grandmother's roots. I find him extremely interesting and can't wait for a book on his life. So proud and happy he made it through that wicked prison system.

Prison does this to people in fact people that are inside for a grey long time and not outside age slowly physically. Prison conserved people of that makes sense but still you shouldn’t go to prison BAD

Notification came through and my lunch time just finished... I guess ima sit at my desk and watch this.... I gotta watch Banky, damn im pushin for him... That's my guy right there.
Danny situation went left, because from the audio clip that Joe play when he first met Danny, you can tell that Danny was still in survivor mode, trying to find his way through the free world and didn’t seem to have any help. He was still tryna get it by any means. But with banky, you can see that his family never gave up on him and he had a good support system behind him
Totally pretty sure Danny might have continued to be homeless if he did meet joe

I absolutely love listening to Banky. I could listen to him talk all day, he's very smart and he has so much knowledge not just prison knowledge but life knowledge and that's rare to find! I'm so glad that you brought him aboard to the APS. And I am so glad he has a second chance cuz anybody who deserves it is him. We are people that are awesome and they just made one bad choice or being at the wrong place at the wrong time, that's how easy it is to get locked up!!! I can't say enough nice things about him but I hope that will have more parts to hi story, or at least keep him in the videos! Joe you pick the winner!
Hands down the best interview but a really solid individual. I know all about that Lorton scene being from DC myself and he ain't embellish nothing! I'm even more impressed by his demeanor and poise after dealing with all of that. I hope he sets up social media platforms to use to help guide this generation. I'm team Banky 100% and hope we cross paths someday. I currently reside in the A pursuing my acting career but who knows...stay focused brother.

It's like people who fight in the wars, some people talk about their experiences during battle and some don't , my father was in battle in the Philippines in WW2 and he did speak of it until the day he died at 88 years old. I think it's good therapy they speak up. I am hoping one day your brother will open up, I truly think that will help him immensely. Many blessings, to you, your brother and family Peace & Love.

What an absolutely fascinating story. When he spoke of his experience on the bus, i felt like i was there.. watching it happen. He is very articulate, soft spoken and is an excellent story teller.
I could see him going into schools and sharing with young people about his experience.
I have no idea how i ended up at this video but I’m glad i did. I dont know who this man is but i wish him peace, happiness and a long life.

I would love to sow a seed into him. I searched to know his real name and turned up empty. He is very leveled headed and can make a positive impact on troubled youth and young adults. If I never can sow this seed I will definitely keep him in prayer. Praying this reaches him.
