Hey there, I hope you and your family are doing amazing. Thank you for your review!! This is very helpful. Yes, please, please do a summer update of the sheets/bedding. I'm keeping an eye out for it 😀🤞🏾
i really appreciate your honesty! i have considered buying a full set for a few months, because i cant find any that look quite as beautiful, but, bed threads has seemed very suspicious given their few reviews and mixed ones at that (though many treat them as flawless and perfect upon arrival) .. so far you seem to be the only voice to really trust, and its a relief!! thank you so much for being so dedicated to providing a look into the quality of their products - im now currently looking for alternatives before buying :)
Thankfully there are a lot of other cool color options for linen out there though I wish there was another that was totally customizable. Thanks for watching and I’m glad it was helpful! 💕
Happy to help! Don't get me wrong I'm still happy with the purchase but at that price point I think Bed Threads could do better. When it comes to spending more than $50 on a product I examine every detail. As a business owner myself I find inspecting to be such great way to take notes on what needs to be on point for my own products. Thanks for watching! :)
I appreciate your review. After seeing all those threads coming out, I will not be ordering linen from BedThreads. The poor stitching quality irks me. And for the price, you can get discount codes from Brooklinen, Silk & Snow, Quince to even out or even beat their price. Even Marupe Linen from Etsy only uses French seams and no overlocking. I hope they do better with their craftsmanship, this is disappointing, I really considered them because I love their color options. But it’s enough to bug me. Thanks for doing this review!
Never knew about linen frequency. Thanks for sharing that…it is incredible. With that knowledge…what blanket should we be using? Does using a cotton blanket diminish the 5000mhz of the linen? What is the frequency of down? We have been using cotton sheets and wool blanket but if I get linen then I’m at a loss. Tried searching frequency of down but found nothing.
If you already have wool then you're good! It has just as high of a frequency. If you want to try linen as well my suggestion would be to use the wool in the colder months and switch it out for linen in the warmer months, as long as you're not using them together they don't cancel each other out. This is an excerpt from the article I read... "According to this study, the human body has a signature frequency of 100, and organic cotton is the same - 100. The study showed that if the number is lower than 100, it puts a strain on the body. A diseased, nearly dead person has a frequency of about 15, and that is where polyester, rayon, and silk register. Nonorganic cotton registers a signature frequency of about 70. However, if the fabric has a higher frequency, it gives energy to the body. This is where linen comes in as a super-fabric. Its frequency is 5,000. Wool is also 5,000, but when mixed together with linen, the frequencies cancel each other out and fall to zero. Even wearing a wool sweater on top of a linen outfit in a study collapsed the electrical field. The reason for this could be that the energy field of wool flows from left to right, while that of linen flows in the opposite direction, from right to left. " They didn't mention cotton cancelling out linen or it being opposite direction of frequency but they did mention it should be organic linen to have a higher frequency. As far as down goes I have no idea and haven't read anything on that either. For personal reasons I did not want to use down as it can be hard to find down that is ethically sourced and also I live somewhere where having that amount of heat would be too much for the climate. I opted for a down alternative made from eucalyptus which I am also unsure of the frequency. On the other hand I am a big proponent of using what you have as long as possible as its better for the environment. I wouldn't worry about mixing fabrics too much so long as you aren't mixing linen and wool. Based off the numbers they gave, I think using cotton whether organic or not shouldn't affect it much when mixed with a high frequency fabric such as linen or wool as they cancel each other out because they are the same frequency. Since cotton and more other materials are a much lower frequency its cancellation potential would be quite low I imagine (simply based on the mathematics of it). So yeah I think what you're already using sounds great, I wish I was a scientist and knew more about this because its so fascinating but nonetheless its a great point on being mindful of the materials we put on our body and how they affect our energy field. Thanks for watching and I appreciate your comment Enjoy the day! 💕 Joelle aka Everyday Avant Garde
From the little fabric sample would you say the Rosewater color looks the same as it does on the website? I’m looking for that reaaaallly light pink but I’m scared it’ll be too pink for me
Sorry for the late response! I just tried looking for my swatches but I cannot find them. I would say the colors are pretty true to the website but if you wanna be sure they will send you a free one bedthreads.com/pages/request-a-swatch-card
The fitted sheet stays on well. There’s been a couple times where it popped off but it doesn’t happen often at all. Could also get those suspender straps they sell to secure them better. And yes the duvet cover has strings in the corners and the top center to tie onto the duvet. ☺️
Interesting... I'm a hot sleeper and i find linen really uncomfortable to sleep in. cotton feels constantly cool on my skin, where as the linen absorbs everything and it just feels like I'm rolling around in my own sweat.
I don’t think I’ve tried cotton bedding before tbh what we had before was microfiber. I’ve also heard bamboo and eucalyptus bedding is cooling as well but haven’t tested em.
I got the Sijo eucalyptus cooling comforter it’s super soft and cozy like a down comforter but not quite as hot cuz in San Diego would be too warm. But it’s plush and made with sustainable materials also animal friendly. ;)
I have the lavender set and it feels soft to touch but scratchy to sleep on. First night. I hope it really does get softer with every wash. Otherwise im going to be very disappointed since it's $400 plus. I'm trying to like it but the fitted sheet feels so rough.
@Everyday Avant Garde yeah I did. Still there was a lot of lint and dust. The weather hasn't been great. I will wash it a few times more when I can hoping that helps. It is actually cooler I do like that. I found the fitted sheet too scratchy so I'm using a regular cotton fitted sheet till I wash it a few more times. Hopefully I love it. The colour and look is great. Waiting for the buttery feel lol
Quince has a whole set for $288 for queen set. Just FYI. I have 4 sets. Good quality. And a 365 day return policy. Poor stitching really irks me especially if you pay a premium for linen. I returned my Avocado linen sheets because it shrank unevenly and the stitching was atrocious.

Thanks for review. Those details of quality control would make me bananas and you just saved me waiting two more weeks for an order to send back.

Nice review. I am obsessed with linen and considering buying Bed Threads in the future.
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed this review! 💕
Thank you so much for this review! It was so insightful and i'm so grateful!
You’re welcome! 😊 Thanks for watching!
Hey - another Joelle. :) I really like their sheets too. xoxo
For real having linen sheets has saved us from having a sweat soaked bed during this current heatwave in Cali 🥵

Really curious about how well the fitted sheet stays on and whether the duvet cover has any sort of fasteners in the corners to hold a duvet in place.

Interesting. I got rid of all my cotton sheets and now sleep on linen year round. Cotton accumulates every bead of sweat on me at night.
Hi! Where did you get your duvet insert?
I got the Sijo eucalyptus cooling comforter it’s super soft and cozy like a down comforter but not quite as hot cuz in San Diego would be too warm. But it’s plush and made with sustainable materials also animal friendly. ;)
Hi! How long did these take to deliver after you ordered them?
Not too long I think my order came in about a week.
Thank you!!! :)
Factory made will pick up random threads I don’t think this is an actual issue.

Did you wash it first? It took me a bit to get used to the feeling cuz the texture is different and I enjoy the cooling feeling they give.

Linen tears. Both my pants ripped after a month each.
Thankfully the bedding hasn’t torn I think wearing it puts more pressure on the fabric than using it for sleep.
All natural fabric will tear you need to handle with care for it to last. Synthetic is tougher
