The pitch at the cameraman and the one hitting the guy in the nuts were both worth the price of admission. I never knew first pitches could be so entertaining.
I always thought that too until I saw some Astros fan in an Astros shirt throw one straight to the ground! She spiked it like a football & she took the top spot in my opinion. Look for it.
@NemeanLion- Exactly. She just hammed it up for the audience and laughed about it. To someone like her, that photographer is an absolute nobody and not worthy of her time or attention; even if she just hit him with a baseball. The multi millionaire, famous baseball player is though.
Eric Davis was absolutely perplexed. Lol That dude is awesome by the way. Haven't heard from him in a long time but He did a interview on the Jim Rome show in the early 2000's and it was really good.
I doubt that, I don’t think I have ever heard anyone say “ oh, Baseball is an easy sport” that’s not really a thing… people say that about Nascar maybe. I think most people are self aware enough to realize it it’s not easy to hit a ball flying at you 90mph with a bat.
When I played baseball my throws were more or less accurate. I never threw a ball for about 6/7 years after I stopped playing and when I started up again I threw stinkers like a lot of these guys. Use it or lose it.
The Darth Vader pitch was about how you’d expect a grown man that dresses up like Darth Vader to throw. I guess next, they’ll have him picking up girls.
Selecting these people to throw out the ceremonial first pitch is like selecting Rosanne Barr to sing the National Anthem at the All-Star game. Oh wait . . .
I doubt it’s the jitters that caused the awful toss. What they should have taught these people is not how to throw it but how to grip it. If they gripped it properly, they could have released it properly too.
If I ever get a first pitch I'll tell you this, I'm going to fire that thing in there, and let's just say they better clear the area out in the general vicinity of the plate.
All of them were OK. I liked Jepson's, although I don't know who she is. Darth Vader has no mobility in his costume, for throwing. Only way he gets a strike is to use 'the Force.' The Wizards dude is telling, though, that you can be a great basketball player and not be able to throw a baseball. Jordan played baseball for 2 seasons and his throw was OK, but a LOT of moving parts. I like the idea that every sport is a 'piece' of the 'whole.' One thing I learned from playing video games, is that some bosses are harder to 'read' than most, because of their 'windup.' You need very good timing to 'parry' their heavy attack. I made progress, when I realized that one boss, in particular, who wields a big one handed lightning hammer, was like a big league fastball pitcher's windup. I would think baseball players would be better at games that involve reading different speed of attacks. That's why baseball is not this dumb American sport. It's kinda useful to know about.
Dude at 0:40 clearly knows how to throw properly. Any chance he hit that dude on purpose? I guess in his defense, the victim was a rather big, hard-to-miss target.
It seems like for most of these people it's the first time they've ever thrown a baseball. I would probably want to practice a few times before throwing before 35,000 fans on national television.
if you're slated to throw out a first pitch, or sing the anthem, why the crap wouldn't you practice for weeks prior? why do these ignorant fools embarrass themselves like this, with no preparation?

0:36 for all we know, that dude was actually aiming for that photographer's nuts and this is actually the greatest first pitch of all time
he wasnt idiot.
His reaction to getting hit reminded me of when you hit the "hippo" or fat guy in the old school game mike tysons punch out:)
That was the best one
I believe that was a 2 ball count lol ...

How do ya not know how to throw a baseball
No way, she fuckin gotem
That dude that got hit in the nuts tho 😂😂😂
No, in the nutsack. It's a big difference
If I threw that bad I would not want to do it.The guy who was hit in nuts in Boston was my favorite.
It's amazing how even elite athletes can look as uncoordinated as an infant when doing something unfamiliar like pitching lol
perhaps a day of practice?
@@kenmtb I'm saying bruh. It looks like some of them have actually never thrown a baseball.
forget baseball, it's just throwing a ball. These people never threw rocks before it's the same mechanics 😂
The second announcer spoke so much truth in 15 seconds
Imagine being told that you’re going to 1st pitch at a Major league baseball game and then not even practicing not even one throw
How to tell everyone you never played Little League as a kid without actually telling them.

You probably make fun of people who spell things wrong as well.

I will shut out every argument that says 36 seconds wasn’t premeditated.
Poor Irish dude in the second clip never held a baseball in his life before that throw 🍀 ⚾️
But he had access to rocks right? There’s rocks in Ireland. All kids throw rocks.
If i got to throw out a first pitch i would chuck it into the stands
Screw that! Chuck it to 2nd!

Surprised an athlete like Connor McGregor failed so bad
He can throw hands, but apparently not a ball
It looks like he's not even a lefty
I'm not
He was probably drunk
Conor throws like a girly man 😆
Personally I think Gary threw like that on purpose because it made for some great radio afterwards!!
Exactly.
Baba Booey not even close to being the worst.
The look on Eric Davis’ face says it all. Wonder if the mayor of Cincinnati knows if he’s right handed or not.
Would have been better if Vader took out a storm trooper
Death Vader could’ve definitely recovered by pretending to force choke the stands for booing him
That darth vader pitch was hilarious,, he was like here go fetch,,,
The problem seems to be that most of these people tried winding up. They would have been better suited doing a soft lob.
Jesus 50 can’t even throw a ball straight lol

John Wall was dunking the baseball
I feel like they do a worst pitch on purpose just to get people talking about them. Like how hard is to throw a damn ball
Forgot Tony Fauci's flattened curve.
Im not going to be a professional baseball player any time soon but I'm pretty certain i could at least get it to catcher
Mouse over 0:38 and click over and over. It's quite an effect! By the way, who dubbed in the crunching sound?
I played alot of of baseball so to me this is hilarious and confusing 😂
I suck at baseball and this is still confusing to me lol. Have these people never thrown a ball before?
I knew baba booey's would be on there 😂
The third pitcher threw out the nutcracker pitch, something he just learned.👍🏼
The force definitely was not with Darth on that one
You’d think they’d do a couple practice throws before hand
I’m pretty positive they do

You can add Stephen A Smoth to that list
“Tee Hee!! He said I broke his camera but it’s not like those silly things are expensive or anything!! Some men get SO grumpy!!”
In refference to Conner M. first mistake was trying to pitch while wearing a tight dress coat!
Wouldnt you practice if you were scheduled to throw out the first pitch? I would...and i pitched varsity in high school.
The problem is a lot of these guys think pitching is easy
If you decided to make a part 2 to this video, don't forget to include the D1 baseball player from Brown University, earlier this year.
Imagine going to a game thinking you are just going to take pictures, but you walk out with a vasectomy
Connor was a disappointment. The man knows how to throw a punch so why can’t he throw a ball 😂
Where’s dr fauci
I would think to at least practice at home before the game right !? I guess most of these celebrity guests dont think ahead much haha 😂

Mcgregor and 50 got something in common
You can kind of forgive mcgregor a bit as he's Irish and they don't play the game.

I knew id see Mark Mallory's terrible first pitch in there.
As a baseball pitcher, this makes me feel like a superhero - LOL
They might have better results if they try a split fingered fastball. I think most try to throw the ball by gripping it with all five fingers. 🤔
MLB should just get rid of this “first pitch” nonsense. There’s absolutely no point in this event.
