I love this for three main reasons: 1. The fact you can FINALLY beam struggle with spirit bomb or orb like attacks is by far the best thing I’ve witnessed in db games 2. The camera work is beautiful 3. Music was top tier
you could in 3. Honestly, perfer the BT3 iteration, it showed via gameplay who was winning.. Th beam struggle here seems like visual noise. Id like them to use the normal backgrounds but make the beam struggle presentation alot more DBZ-esque where it display whos on the front foot and whos on the backfoot. But thats what i think.
@@ac04project I never played bt3 buts I’ve seen some things and it does look good, however the one thing I like more in this is just the art style of it, in normal anime like dbz you can see who would have the advantage but in a game like sparking zero, db legends you can’t anymore because it’s all dependant on the players input, however they could show more animation after the struggle to show the person who one has a lot more power behind it, treating it sort of like doing a flashy dramatic finish in dbfz kinda

Their shouldve been two seperate scenes for beam clash, one where its challenged and then after you lose the beam struggle your ki is dispelled and you are put in line of the blast but you can still h9ld it back to attempt a deflect with another mini game. I.e first bleam clash the loser then alternate to an attempt to deflect/hold off the beam /blast. For a visual idea imagine kid buu holding off the spirit bomb
Hell no. Not only would that make beam struggles less rewarding, it would make it completely pointless as you may just have won but your opponent deflects it and it's all for nothing. The whole point of beam struggles is high risk high reward as you may not know but beam struggles do 2X blast damage
@Fact_Check12 dude budokai 3 perfectly shows how transitional supers can work. Adding the mini game part and alternative outcomes only increase the emersion. Now if you just want simplistic gameplay I guess but this is for the men of culture not babies who wanna get instant gratification from seeing his favorite kakarot do a beam

The sticks were fine for me. I figured out during those clashes, you could use both sticks at the same time making it much easier to accomplish.
