What an absolutely wonderful talk from UGLE and your speaker - thoroughly enjoyable and enlightening. I'm a member of RA (Chapter of Loyalty 296) and learned lots from this. I do hope to have the pleasure of his company one day. S&F. Kevin.
Is it true that American Masons cannot sit in Craft Lodge in England unless they have gone through the RA degrees, even if they are Master Masons and 32° AASR Masons? I fully intend to join the RA, but this is something that I have heard.
That is not true - Any Freemason who is a member in good standing of a Grand Lodge in amity in UGLE may sit in any Craft Lodge to which he has attained the appropriate degree!
@@UnitedGrandLodgeofEngland thank you for the information and timely response. I have talked to a few Brothers here and they were also under the impression that one had to have received the Mark Mason (RA) degree to attend English Lodges. I will pass on the information. I hope you are well!
In England the Mark is separate from the Royal Arch. Unlike America where the Mark is part of the Royal Arch. There are many Mark Lodges in England and some Masons ( of their own choice ) only attend the Mark Lodge rather than the Blue/ Craft Lodge. @@LeeBlegen
