Ugh I had my first negative and terrible eBay buyer. They didn’t even let me reply to the message before leaving a negative! They did that first and then messaged me. 😫 and bc I’m fairly new to eBay it dropped me from 100 to 97. I’m so salty over it. I do not understand why we can’t leave buyers negatives too.
@@retrobydestiny1030 it’s honestly why after selling in college I didn’t ever want to go back to eBay. I’ve been making some fairly decent sales there, but I’m just so freaking irritated. And it was over the most ridiculous thing that had they simply messaged I would’ve even accepted the return, even though I don’t accept them! And in the end, they didn’t even want a return. But let the bad review. Rant over 😂
@@AmandaPruitt same situation!! I mean how do I know how tall you are? Sorry the pants were short but the tag said long😂 I wanted to quit eBay for a few days!!
I don’t accept returns but I only sell what I know and if someone wants to lie and open a rerun they can do that but if it comes back in a poor condition vs how I sent it out they will get only a token refund and I don’t care if they get upset they can leave negative I am quitting anyway after this season taking everything to the fle market and then to the church
I know what you mean. I have returns on my eBay account. Buyer pays for returns. So I had this customer who left me a negative feedback on a pair of jeans she bought. She stated in the feedback that I refused to let her return the item. Again I have returns on my account. She also stated she email me about the return. I never received an email from her. Also keep in mind eBay will have a copy of this as well. Anyway I contacted eBay about this buyer. eBay just told me that she can write whatever she wants and they would not remove the feedback. This made me so mad. So she can lie give me negative feedback that strikes my account for 1 year and there is nothing I can do about this?? So if I where you I would try this: I went onto Facebook and I am a member of the EBay Facebook group. Mainly it just talks about what is selling fast on eBay. I posted my story about what happened to me asking if anyone has experience a similar situation. With in less then a week eBay removed my negative feedback. Might be worth a try.

@@austenpoet I definitely understand that perspective!! I do consider if you buy clearance items, even the big retailers do “final sale”. But whatever works for your business! I did offer to let her return, I think she just couldn’t be pleased 😒 thank you for watching and input!
I don’t return things that don’t fit! I donate! But to be fair at a regular retail shop you can try on. There is a Huge difference in xl tops. Most fit be others too small. The chance you take from buying online
@@kirish43 definitely a risk shopping online! I do make sure to provide measurements on everything now, some of my older items don’t have them unfortunately. But it does show when you purchase I don’t accept returns. We can’t make everyone happy unfortunately 😬 thanks for your perspective!

I also don’t like eBay’s attitude about the liars

Do t forget it needs to be under five pounds too

The lady was mean but has a point...if us sellers want to compete with online retailers we need to accept returns. Just my opinion don't come for me!
