Women aren't allowed to age it seems, and if they do, they have to look younger than their age. But not too younger, because then they will be accused of having surgeries/fillers/botox etc 😒
Seeing Sonia back on stage has been my personal highlight of the show. She is such a great performer and 'Better The Devil You Know' should definitely have won the contest back in 1993 😊❤️

Better The Devil You Know is one of my all time fave ESC songs and was sooo stoked I got to hear Sonia sing it at the contest again tonight, loved it!.

Its because France pretty much always sends the same songs. Always boring french chansons.
Don't get me wrong, i enjoy chansons and this was a good song and a good performance, but it's not surprising or unusual. And Europe doesn't seem to want it either.
Compare it to the UK almost always sending bad performers, Italy always bringing dramatic Italian songs, Germany almost always sending in boring songs, etcetera. Some countries are very very stuck in their ways.

I don't know if this was on purpose, but all the other interval acts before her (Mahmood, Netta, Daði Freyr, Cornelia Jacobs and Duncan Laurence) were all born around the time Sonia took part from 1992 to 1994.

One of the best performances last night. She was robbed and deserved to win in 1993.
I ll never forget that scene she approached the Irish singer and congratulated a f minute after she lost by a few points while the Irish delegation was still celebrating; she was 23 years old at the time
This was such a great moment in final! Both UK and Irish songs that year were great but it was heartbreaking to lose out on the very last vote. It took a long time to forgive Malta 😂

this Eurovision was unfair and a HUGE disappointment, people are thinking the votings we’re literal Bots cause first of all, who the hell would vote so many points for these kinds of Songs? this is not even possible! the Songs Finland and Sweden did? are like none persons Music Type- there we’re sooo many Countries that DESERVED the Win.

Yes!! Italy is top 5 again! Please get over it. Juries never valued out entries, this year they did a bit more. Eurovision is not only about good visuals and dances, it’s also about good lyrics and good singers. You did not want Soldi or Zitti e Buoni to win because they were “shallow”, now you all complain about the fact Due vite is too serious and boring. Make up your mind (or avoid making me think you’re still salty about that damn sun)

And don't bypass the FACT that Loreen performed amazingly. She had some of the best live vocals. She delivered a performance. She has charted across Europe and has placed higher in most countries, even in the UK where she is still in the top 4.
She was the favourite when the song was unveiled and had a lot of love from the public. Don't gloss over all these facts just because youre annoyed that your favourite didn't win.
Ps: I preferred Cha Cha Cha to Tattoo, but Loreen slayed the live performance much harder than Finland did. I cant lie.

@@AdamDawson3 It is. Just check the difference between televoting and jury votes. It was 200 points more so televoting couldn't reach the difference.
Of course, it rigged. They learnt from last year, so hence why the jury gave so many points to Sweden. Just to make sure the puplic doesn't vote for a country that hasn't got money to host it.
