You know...looking at this game, it really goes to show much of a good soundtrack can affect the feel of a game. Like overall, it has really good sense of speed for a racing game in this kind of genre. But the soundtrack really does let it down. The intro sequence for example doesn't feel like it's hyping you up as it should with how fast you're piloting these vehicles. Imagine this game with a breakbeat and drum & bass soundtrack like that of WipEout? Or something energetic and rockin' like that of F-Zero? It would make this game a whole lot better feeling imo.
The music in this game is really good. When hooked up to a good sound system it gives off a really unique vibe. It's nice to have something a little different. Check out the forest based track if you can. Absolutely pounding drums in that one.
