Yes. Even if Yugoslavia was in France '98, it wasn't the same because some republics like Croatia (also present in that tournament) splitted off Yugoslavia.
Number of tactical and yellow card worthy fouls on the czech side is remarkable. It‘s actually funny that the red card came as a result of a thrown shoe 😅
How do you mean? Italia 90 was a defence / time-waste tactics / backpass dominated World Cup with a lot of dirty play, theatrical non-fouls and yellow / red cards... This wasn't "real" football
Real? They had to make crucial rule changes on the back of this WC because the football was so bad and so cynical? Lowest goals per games at a world cup and woefully defensive football and one of the worst dirtiest finals. So yeah that "real" is just nostalgia playing with you in this instance
What??? Clear penalty. You have to improvise it a bit, if don't, then ref is not giving penalty on foul. In the final Augenthaler should have got penalty earlier.
Although the Czechs started off lively, they never really looked to have the Germans in trouble - but that penalty was ridiculous. Clearly no foul... The Czechs should have been given penalties at 4:21 and 4:34... Also 4:02, that was clearly theatrical - there was no contact at all, the Czech player was nowhere near him! Very harsh sending off too
The 1990 world cup was the last appearance for West Germany, the Czechoslovakia Soviet Union and Yugoslavia

There was no Czechoslovak Soviet Union but clearly Czechoslovakia and Soviet Union
@@radoslav9649 I think he forgot to Add Comma between Czechoslovakia and USSR😂
Germany 🇩🇪 will played Czech Republic 🇨🇿 6 years later in Euro final at Wembley.
Fabulous Lother Matthaus of Germany.
His top speed was a problem for every team the Germans played.
Ilgner, augenthaler, kohler, buchwald, berthold, brehme, matthaus, hasler, littbarski, klinsman, völler.

Thank You very much! More wc 1990 matches ;)
post the highlights of brazil 1 (3) x 1 (4) france in the 1986 world cup
Miraculous Lother Mathaus of Germany.
When football was real
The 90s was the last time that I really cared.

Add caniggia play it would be a different story
The German penalty was a joke (Klinsmann is a super actor) like in the final too.
besides it was Voller in finals ;)

Magical Lother Matthaus of Germany.
The sending off was extremely harsh.
Schon ein episches Spiel, eine richtige Schlacht. Die haben sich nichts geschenkt.
Lotar Matheus

No foul in the penalty. Are you blind :)
@anttilehtonen2948 no, I've got 20/20 vision. Absolutely no foul - go visit an optician if you disagree
Why is germany losing these days
Самый ужасный чемпионат на моей памяти
