Can´t understand the hatred of some folks. I am a die-hard metalhead since I can think, been to hard and heavy concerts for almost two decades and will do so in the next decades to come - still renditions like these are amazing: They are honouring not only the legendary Iron Maiden but also music as such. Wow! Just wow! I heard this live, during Maiden's 1986/1987 Somewhere on Tour show. The local War Memorial was packed to the brim, I was 15, the music was louder than I could have ever imagined, and the show was 1000% incredible! I never imagined such a beautiful rendition of such a timeless metal classic! Well done!

Been listening to Iron Maiden since high school, so around 25 years or so. Many times, bands like that write some really profound songs that sort of disappear in the tempo and energy of it all, especially the live versions. This was beyond brilliant; it really lends the lyrics the emotional weight they always held, helped by your brilliant composition and voice. Outstanding cover!

Ive checked out so many of the acoustic covers of this song on youtube. There are other good interpretations out there. But i think this is the only one that accurately expresses the true meaning of the words

I'll never hear this song again in the same way as I once did. The words were already deep. Turning this acoustic added to it and made it ethereal.
