On thing i did well in 2023 is I finished our Paris travel album. Another is that i recovered from having a mastectomy. Cancer free now! So happy your brain is ok! Was worried about you.
I have probably watched this close to 5 times. I'm pleased to say I got started! 3 lists completed and It feels great. Now I can add "creative listing" to "things I'm looking forward to this year" 😊

I love these sessions as always. I was diagnosed with Systemic Lupus in 2023 and learned that sometimes a full-time working mom who volunteers all the time has to S L O W D O W N.... and that's ok! Time for the younger moms to have their season volunteering!

In telling my Bible study group i do listing, i will explain it to them later. I think many will be interested. Thank you for your creativity. I am in the process of thinking of more icons for you to create because they are a better size for both listing AND scrapbooking - which i also do!
Two things I definitely want to forget: Nova Scotia had a some really bad luck last year; a lack of rain caused many forest fires & 2 were massive wildfires. One was very close to Halifax & caused evacuations & lose of 200+ structures. Sadly some people lost their pets as it happened during the day, but no lives lost. Then we had so much rain in one day that it caused major flooding. Roads & bridges were swept away, a mall was underwater, & this time sad to say, there was a lose of lives. However as we say her, We are Nova Scotia Strong & we are rebuilding & putting things back to right & even trying to find the humour as much as possible. The best was a beaver swimming up a major road. Here's to a much better 2024!

Enjoyed the day with all of you! I learned/discovered this year it is ok to break the line of generational trauma. Plan to write a book about it one day!
One thing I learned in 2023 is to not take it personally when my friends are not available to do things with me. Unlike me, my friends have family close by & grandkids & more friends with a bigger social life than me so I have more free time so I'm not taking it personally & I'm ok doing things by myself 🙂

It's Sunday morning when I watch you - It's like 6am (5am when it finishes daylight saving).. but I wake up and put headphones on and try to listen without going back to sleep. lol! If that fails.. I watch the replay. This Sunday you kept me company for all those hours while I was preparing a dinner for the family coming round. I do listen to much.. but aim to get some pages done this year. I get overwhelmed with everything I want to do. Anyway, Just love listening to you and following you for inspiration and fun. #currentlyenjoyingsummer ;-)
I watched the replay and loved your lists. I made an ongoing list of highlights & things I wanted to forget that I recorded throughout the year. Thankfully some of the things that seemed so frustrating were already forgotten had I not written them down. One is the panic we had with the University, stating my son declined his acceptance to the school when he did not, and they misallocated his deposit money so he couldn't apply. Thankfully, all is resolved, and he is currently in his 2nd semester.
