Luka, Kyrie, PJ and Jones Jr. were excellent, but I feel like Lively won them this series. He was bullying Chet on the offensive glass all series and gave the Mavs so many extra possessions while also being very solid defensively. I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes an all-star next year.

We react to the clickbait too much. No one is going to be a “luka-stopper” of course. But Dort did a great job. And of course you’d expect him to do a good job being one of the better defenders in the league. But Luka is one of the best offensive players of all time.
OKC doesn't need another all star. Jalen Williams is already that caliber and Chet will develop. What OKC needs is a good rebounding big, so they don't get overpowered by the bigger teams.

With that said, they don't need another super start, they've already got two: Dub and Chet - they just haven't turned into super starts yet. Next year they'll be that much better and the year after that, stars. What they need is a 4-5 year vet big. Not too old as to disrupt the youthful flow, but someone with some experience. I think Jarrett Allen would be a great fit. Defending and rebounding. There's also been talk of Markkanen, who would fit in with great 3 point shooting and would space the floor even more, plus scoring and rebounding. The only thing with him is that he's never played more than 70 games. In the end, Sam Presti will no doubt make the right moves this off season and you should expect to see OKC in the conf finals if not the finals.

Their key contributors aren’t even fully developed yet. They are a few years from being a true contenders. Giving them their flowers is not a slight against the Mavs my boy. Our second best player is a true vet. OKC is gonna be a force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future
@@kbwriter215that true vet line don't even work really cause Kai was actually a bit disappointing the last 2-3 games or so. The rookie d-live outplayed their rookie and stepped up when it mattered. Especially the ft line. Both are young teams and if we stay together we also gonna be a better team in a few years. IMO
@@jlara453 it’s not about how he played. It’s about his leadership. Every player on the team talks about the difference that veteran leadership makes. It’s not a knock, it just is what it is. Dallas has a young core too. OKC has the youngest core. Idk why saying that is a problem to you
