Roman Khomlyak, a filmmaker, and his hiking companion, Misha, embarked on a wildflower-filled adventure in Oregon's Columbia River Gorge. To capture the beauty of the landscape, Khomlyak used a Sigma FP L camera, paired with a variety of Canon EF lenses, including a Canon EF 16-35mm F/4L IS USM, Canon Ef 24-105mm F/4L IS USM, Meyer Optik Gorlitz Trioplan 100/2.8, AUTO-TAKUMAR 35MM F2.3, HELIOS 44-2 58MM F2, Sigma MC-21, and Fotodiox Pro Fusion Smart AF adapter. Their May 2024 journey along the McCall Point Trail was cut short by rain, but not before they witnessed the vibrant blooms of balsamroot, lupine, and harsh paintbrush. They also encountered peculiar bentwood trees along the trail. As the day drew to a close, they were rewarded with a breathtaking sunset.
