@@moonshadow_walker2192 I used a bit of hair mask that works as leave-in conditioner to be able to work the separate strands :) my hair is wavy and frizzy as all hell! That made it way easier though

I've always loved the 4 strand round braid, though I rarely take the time to start it - usually I'm in a hurry to braid my hair, and I know most people won't appreciate it... although typing this out just made me realize I SHOULD take the time to do it for myself.

Maybe if useful i use another method of remembering.
I say the pattern out loud.
First braid (start at whatever side you want): over, under, over, switch braid, over, under, over, switch,…
Second (start at whatever side): over, under, switch side, under, over, switch side,…
Third braid (start at whatever side): over, switch a braid sideways inner, over two, switch side, over, switch a braid sideways inner, over two, switch side,…

ah i was suspicious of this. sometimes my (4 strand) braids turn out differently than other times. now i know exactly why 🙂

  • @Drachenrose97
    @Drachenrose97 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Actually I do a slightly other method, when I do the last one:
    - 4 even strands
    - take one outer one, let it pass 2 strands *underneath* and let it pass 1 strand back *above*
    - same with the other outer strand
    - repeat.
    For example:
Outer right - move it *underneath* 2 strands - move 1 strand back *above* to the right.
Outer left - move underneath 2 strands - 1 strand back over to the left.
Same result, turned out a bit easier to learn for me. :D

I was doing a twist out braid but it was getting a little annoying to sleep on(though my wife said I reminded her of Khaleesi with all the braids), so I did the first four strand braid with four twist outs on each side and it looked messy but really badass at the same time! Oh, a tip to remember when doing that braid if you're having difficulty is go from your chest to your shoulders, and weave it under and over and under the strands(in that order). Then do it again with the next stand that became closest to your chest and so on

Wow, the slide-up braid was a cool surprise. 💜👍 I think the 1st one will be easiest. I really liked the 4th braid style. I have finally sorta gotten my hand on the first four strand braid. Since my hair is frizzy and likes to cling to each other it's hard to stay separate. I have found separating them into two braids instead of one helps me control the hair better. So that I can practice on that and improve with moving on to bigger amounts of hair.

ピーパソンフラフィ S'il vous plait (si fu play) is the french word for please and plait is another word for braiding. The t in the french word is silent as opposed to the t in plait (not silent) but besides that the two words sound very similar.
      I thought it was funny.
